Problems with posting

I don't know if this is in the right place or not.. but I've been trying for over a week to post a thread to the Captain's Table forum to help promote my RP fleet (not even a new one, we just need new faces). I made a rather nice post, and people I've shown it too say it looks good... but after three attempts to post it... nothing happens. The forum acts like it will eventually show up.. but it never does. I know it says posts need to be approved, but... more than a week? I'd understand if something was not right about it and it was being blocked... but if so.. why? I am getting no feedback at all and it is very frustrating. I honestly don't know if this post will work at this rate.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the problem is? Is it something I am doing or not doing? Is there anywhere that explains it? I certainly can't find anywhere that does...

    How many URLs are in the post? I've seen this happen many times and always with posts that had URLs.

    I did link several sites in it, I didn't think that would be a problem though. No where says that such is not allowed either to my knowledge.

    Yeah, it's not. I'm not even sure why it's there. It doesn't happen if you add the links by editing a post.

    Then I'll try doing it that way, thanks for the suggestion.
