    Beta looks less like a conventional ship and more of a practical design for a vessel made to haul fighters. I'm going with Beta.

    To me, Alpha looked too similar to the Prometheus and Intrepid designs - time for something different.

    Beta for me. I like the wide saucer and the semi-circular sweeping shuttledeck (if that's what it is). Two nacelles works fine too.

    I, on the other hand, am not so sure about the asymmetry of Alpha's nacelles. I just wish Beta's sensor pod were a little higher: as is, it doesn't seem to reach above the saucer section.

    Because Beta has an interesting broad saucer, while Alpha is yet another long saucer, like so many ships before it.

    I can't say I like Alpha or Beta, but Beta seems like the lesser of two uglies. So long as I get mah Omega or Delta in the end.

    love the saucer and i'm tired of the quad nacelles type. Don't like the Alpha Saucer it's very similar to other ships.

    #TeamBeta here. Looks more like a traditional Federation ship, especially one that is meant for more "peacetime" and "exploration" rather than all-out war.​​

    Man, I'm usually against any new Fed ships before getting more KDF and Romulan, but I'll agee that the Fed side has been lacking in decent carriers. I love the Atrox look but can't stand the layout.

    none of the above. Serious. Re-examine Canon ships and stop this trend before it goes any farther.. they're all quite difficult to look at regardless of angle.

    Definitely the beta for me. Even though it's a carrier and they tend to stray from design aesthetics, I like the wide saucer because it screams Starfleet.

    I don't like ANY of them. You want to design a carrier? Go look at the Nebula-Class, design a pod for carrying fighters and you've got it. My opinion, no one else's.

    I think the longer hulls work better for Carriers, and I like how Alpha seems more top-heavy design-wise. Beta is not helped by my intense dislike of the wider Galaxy-type saucers. I don't like the nacelle design of any of them though, preferring the Patrol Escort/Escort Carrier's habit of including the nacelles within the general silhouette. Alpha seems like it'd be better at this from the front profile. Beta has the "Plain saucer with middle hump" that so many ships have while Alpha has a more interesting and complex DSSV-esque geometry.

    I don't really like either of them. Beta's saucer shape bothers me the most. So voting Alpha.
