Tracert won't work in this instance, as it is the DNS A record of patchserver.crypticstudios.com that is causing the login issues, as this is not resolving to a valid IP address.
If you need to see where the break in communication is, give us an IP address to tracert to and we might be able to show how many hops before we lose the trace.

Might I remind you that you are also forgetting about routine maintenance schedules and the occasional issue of the game going down, much like this? In reality, so long as they are not strung together, 20 days of downtime is virtually nothing. You still have to factor in server maintenance and all that good stuff in order to keep a running server.

Cannot get patch server to run reliably here, most of the time it just sits there attempting to log me in with no result. Tracert gave me an error - could not resolve address. IP is 209.179.120.80. Managed to get online one time today but after about 5 minutes the server stopped responding and I got kicked out - never did manage to get back online.
So did they or did they not catch the person responsible for the DDOS attacks? I see posts saying yes, but I'm still getting mega SNRs and uber DCs tonight
Does anyone know of any fixes to this problem yet? This has been going on for days and days now. I can get into the game but in less then 10 minutes I get the red text server not responding and then good bye. I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed yet after so many days of complaints.

Yeah, can anyone point me to a status update of it. I don't really have any problems logging on, but I get the "server not responding" about every 2 minutes in game. It is like playing in slow motion while I wait for the server to catch up.
