Can you guys at least make it look like ESD is under repair?

So we saw in 'Midnight' ESD is heavily damaged and then we go there after the mission and its like everything is ok? It's inconsistent and doesn't really do continuity very good. How about adding some damage to the interior....fallen beams...hull breaches...containment fields...smashed walls and sparking consoles...flashing lcars screens, erratic lighting effects...various NPC'S conducting repairs on relays, plasma conduits, panels etc. Add work bees repairing the exterior hull. In fact why not turn it into a game where we can aid the NPCs in repairs...and get rewards for doing so? just an idea.

They don't change the overworld to match the missions because not everybody is at the same point in the episodes.

One of my toons just left Nimbus - she would be quite irritated by ESD being destroyed by some enemy that even started fighting us yet.

The problem with this is that not everyone visting ESD is on the same page (I.E. aren't fighting the Undine or the Iconians).

so as this mission could be played by any characters at any time and even characters of new players ESD would have to be permanently in disarray even before they may have played the mission for the first time and forever more, this in itself would be inconsistent and doesn't really do continuity very good.
and then take the PVE mission "Brotherhood of the Sword" where qo'nos is in just as bad a state, does this mean the regular qo'nos must be in permanent disarray from now on also.

if you want to keep continuity just imagine they have very efficient clean up and repair crews in the future.

I know MMORPG`s are supposed to be pretty immersive but sometimes you just have to use your imagination a little bit.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
