Iconian Vest....a whole new category? Not interchangeable?

*sighs* devs devs devs....

Why oh WHY is the Iconian Vest a separate category separated from most other items? No mix-and-matching of parts, eh? You guys KNOW this is like the ONE thing players want: the ability to mix and match all the parts of costumes, to get rid of stupid categories...

Then you give us this. I mean, If I want to mix my Buck Rogers in the 25th Century-styled Iconian Vest with my normal uniforms...WHY the EFF NOT!?!?!

    *grumbles and then walks off to not go on yet another rant on why mix & matching of costumes would be great and that this is another example of them doing exact opposite of what a lot of players would want to see...*

    Yeah, more of this set should be mixable. The Kobali set was at least mostly available with normal outfits. Why not this one?

    Agreed, this isn't even an armor. It's an outfit.
    It should be classified as a uniform.

    Some parts are usable under 'Off Duty', such as the shoulder and back pieces. I don't know about the head piece as it is missing for me.

    Females dont have a headpiece afaik.

    We went back and allowed more of these parts to be mixable in existing categories. There are also a good number of existing parts mixable in the "Armor - Iconian" category as well.

    On that note... Any chance the outfit will be made available to Romulans at any point?

    Once the update to the Iconian Vests go out, Romulans as well as Caitians should properly have access to this set. Once updated, all the Iconian Vests will be available in the category Armor - Iconian and some of them will be available in the category Off-Duty Jacket Loose. Note that the Iconian Vests that will be available in Off-Duty Jacket Loose will be the short versions. The long versions of the Iconian Vest will be exclusive to the drop down category Armor - Iconian due to fitting issues with certain skirts, robes, pants, etc.

    The category Armor - Iconian will give access to all parts of the Iconian set. Other categories that exist (Jacket Loose, Pants Tight, etc.) will have limited access to certain parts of the Iconian set. We tried to allow for flexibility, but at the same time want to avoid too many fitting issues.

    This is....really effing cool. A step in the right direction! Thanks!!!!111!!!

    to be honest, I would gladly trade minor clipping and fitting issues if we were to simply remove all the categories so we can pretty much have infinite combos for armor, off-duty, etc.

    Of course, then we would have a bunch of people who would fine-tune their outfits for maximum clippage, (is that a word?) just to annoy people.

    That's what quite few of us have been attempting to tell them, investing even a lot of time to present it reasonably.

    If someone is annoyed by someone else's character, they just need to grow a thicker skin and leave. As simply as that. We shouldn't be restricted from having nice things because of bunch of trolls and subsequently, because of people who just need to learn to move on and mind their own business.

    Resulting in a few people in the game in ridiculous outfits, a few people on the forums crying about the former group in a ridiculously exaggerated manner, a few more people laughing at the first two groups and the vast majority happily playing with their new toy.
