Voth Advanced Heavy Fighters Vs. Elite Scorpion Fighters

Hello all, I am currently using a Voth bastion flight deck cruiser with Voth advanced heavy fighters. I have the option to buy the elite scorpion fighters. My question is this, are they worth it, I hear everyone say that the scorpion fighters do the most damage but I like the fact that my Voth fighters can stay in the fight longer which means they are continuously dishing out damage. Any tips or information you could provide would be appreciated, thanks!

    If its dmg you want, then yes Scorpion Fighters are the way to go. Its actually good that they die fast because the instant you summon more they'll use High Yield Torpedo. However, I really love my Voth Fighters because of the Transphasic Chroniton Torpedoes. SOOO useful against ships that like to fly circles around you, like the Iconian Raiders. Also, the Voth Antiproton proc is useful. So really depends on your taste.

    Against structures and unmoving targets, Elite scorps are amazing. Against shielded moving targets, much less so.
