best mods for tetryon weapons?

hi, currently i try to build a tetryon build for my kdf tac recruit, he has a matha raptor. i use crafted weapons.

for now, he has 1 crtdx3 pen (epic), 3 crtdx3 crth (UR), + 1 ctrdx3 (purple)

i have crafted a tetryon dbb UR ctrdx2 dmg pen; should i keep it?

currently, this toon is good, but i want him to make more damages

i don't really know which mods are the best for tetryon weapons. Pen is good for everything, but crth or dmg which is the best?

    Vulnerability Locators from your Fleet Spire may be a good investment choice for "more damage".

    The mods are not dependend on weapontype. Depending on your critchance, CrtDx3 pen is the best, but a stray dmg wont really matter much. At this point, every mod besides Acc is good.​​

    in fact my kdf toon will have 23/25 % crit chance (after the purchase of rom boffs), so i don't know if dmg would be interesting for him in the future. for now he has 15% crit chance, i must buy 3 fleet consoles.

    ctrdx2 dmg pen UR seems interesting for now, but i don't want to upgrade it to MK XIV, if later my toon with 23/25% crit chance will be able to use something else with better results. in fact, i don't want to waste 9 mil ec, currently i can sell this weapon at this price; + the dil cost and the ec (for the upgrades).

    Then I would sell it. Really, mods only matter if you want records, if you want "just" high dps they become less important. But EC are important, for new ships, traits and abilities (like Kemocite), which boost dps far more than wether or not a mod is crtd or dmg.​​

    yes, indeed. i would like to keep ec for more interesting things to buy. this is why, I have a dilemma. most of my toons use AP, so i know the weapons i have to keep. But tetryon + low crit chance (my main is a rom) is a new world for me. btw, thx for the advice :)

    in fact, i don't want to do a huge amount of dps, but i just want to do ISA without problems. I mean, kill a sphere must take few seconds.

    The differences between different mods are quite low so I wouldnt spend a fortune for that last 1% more dmg. Your sample beam is a very good one and the price tag supports that.

    The dmg mod is quite valuable for a Tet build now if you are using Nukara and Apex Predator 2 piece set boosts. That's a 16% weapon boost for the dmg mod.
