Hey Everyone!
With Season 11, called "New Dawn", coming around the corner, I wanted to create a trailer that I felt really expresses the feeling of Exploration and a New Beginning. I made this trailer for the STO community to enjoy, and hopefully help people get hyped up for the new expansion. Please feel free to share it on your fleet websites and with your fleet mates! AND! Expect me to keep doing trailer type videos for the community when Cryptic releases something big (Example Fleet Holding or future expansions)

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.

I really thought it was good. Reminded me of the quality H20rat did with the F2P trailer in striking emotion with the right kind of cinematics along with a perfect choice in music. Top-notch kudos.
So may I ask what tools you used outside of Demo record?

What do I use outside of Demo record?
Well, while in demo record, I use FRAPS, recording at 60FPS. Then, for all the captured stuff, I compile and edit everything in Sony Vegas Pro. The intro and the credits were done in After Effects, which is another beast that I'm trying to learn now.
That's about it really. That video was about 12 hours of work total.

Unfortunately I doubt the next season is going to be as good as either trailer would suggest. I doubt also about the exploration being more of the thing. Between the Tholian battlezone in the Badlands, Mirror queue on tribble, even Temporal Cold War, the upcoming don't sound like it will be any better than the Iconian war was. I'd like to be more optimistic, but I was optimistic about the Iconian war and I was disappointed.
