So in my search for a good sci ship, I came upon the Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit. Not to be confused with the LRSV Science Vessel, this smaller, more nimble ship has a near perfect Boff layout for what I am looking for, but I cant seem to find any information on it anywhere.
I have a few questions I'd like answered before I invest in this ship, and was hoping someone out there may have flown this ship before. My questions are as follows:
1) When you upgrade to T5U, what console does this ship gain?
2) What does the upgrade system give you? To be more clear, what passive buffs are gained from each level?
3) If you flew it, what was your impression of it? I flew the earlier variant and it was a nimble little thing that I enjoyed using. Not to mention that the Lt Cmdr Tactical slot is so alluring.
To anyone who can help me, thank you! I have been scouring the internet for the answers to these questions, and coming up short!

Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit +1 Science Console
Enhanced Particle Generators +15% Damage to Exotic Damage Abilities
Advanced Shield Systems +10% Shield Hitpoints
Enhanced Restorative Circuitry +10% to Hull and Shield Healing Abilities
Reactive Shield Technology +Shield Regen, -5% Damage to Shields
Those are some nice passives. I'd really like to fly Sci ships more often but they're not fun solo or with teams that dont work as a team
Anyone want to give me a Temporal Heavy Dreadnought pack? I'll be your friend
Also, it's cute.
Purely for the record, that "mastery package" is the "standard science ship trait list", that all 100% hangarless science ships share. And from what I remember of the console addition rules, all science ships get a +1 science console unless said ship already has 5x science consoles, at which point the console is assigned to a secondary trait based on all sorts of rules...
Now as to the "fun" of a good science ship, it definitely depends on the user, build, and goal(s). Personally, I get highly frustrated when I'm off flying an alt without even GW I, as I'm so used to melting 3 packs of HP Sponge (TM) Vaadwaur Frigates within the span of a good GW III (preferably with an aftershock or 3 from the Gravimetric DOff) and BFaW II / Torp Spread I... Bigger "bossy" targets are quite a bit more difficult, however I do tend to "look forward" to those challenges and/or have a touch of drain built into my build (energy syphon II, polaron guns, fedside Plasmonic Leech) to help "weaken" those bigger ships...
That, and I've used my Sci ship to bail out more than my share of "Kirk-filled PuGs" - personally I find nothing more satisfying than being yelled at for "abandoning" the transformer to slap a GW III on the nanite train letting the Kirks of the team suddenly realize that all that's standing between them and failure is their ability to all target that transformer before my well dissipates...
