Lots More Server Not Responding Today

    Boston users seem to be getting effected particularly badly (I'm one of them). I've been rubberbanding and getting sporadically disconnected for the last hour. It got so bad in the last 20 minutes that I had to log off. A fleetmate from Boston reports the same issues as me. NOP channel reports all kinds of lag issues as well.

    It's not just Boston. I got DC'ed twice and I don't live anywhere near

    Also happens in Europe, and it's been like this the whole day. Just now as well, and all day long before (for us Europeans all night and evening). I had reports all over the fleet and also DPS channels etc.

    The servers are actually in Boston, so that's interesting. I'm in the Seattle area and seeing it as well.

    I have been on most of the day ("working from home"), and it was fine up until a couple hours ago when it started getting a little laggy, then started giving server not responding. Now it kicks me off within a couple minutes. Whaever it is, it's getting worse.

    Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

    I hope they get called in so they can give me back the Hanger Pets in the Equipment Vendors.

    Yeah that would be beneficial to only the customer base so don't count on it.

    I finally logged off. Rubberbanding, stalls, and disconnects. This is not an issue with my connection.These issues are server side.

    I'm in So Cal, my friends are in New Hampshire and Illinois and we are all experiencing the same lag and disconnects today.

    Disconnected 3 times from Advanced Gate . . . if you do get reconnect, try playing with 3 ships not 5 . . . fun times. Done for night . . . not worth effort.
    Have you tried the new forum on your phone?

    Unfortunately, this isn't unusual anymore. It's day-to-day business. It has been slightly better after the patch where the command abilities got "nerfed" performance-wise so they would consume less server data when being used. But now it's like before that patch again.

    I got looking around and STO isn't the only one suffering. And before you say anything, one of those games is Forsaken World, so it's not just a Cryptic problem.

    It's most likely a Cogentco problem.

    Here is super laggy and DCs - in Illinois, and a friend from Nevada says the same.
