Maintenance 07-30-2015 started...

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
What will go wrong today?

I call maintenance done 35 minutes earlier than scheduled, then emergency hotfix two hours later that lasts additional 7 hours with another quick 5 hour maintenance on Tuesday to do some 'pgradin' and tie up some loose ends.

    Nothin will happen. At least nothing should happen. They only are introducing the heavy escorts.. thats all (yup, no fixes again lol but who cares anymore). Of course knowing these guys.. something could go wrong..

    Since I can't create new topics with a new account, let me just hi-jack this one for a little report:

    If you got banned from the forums you can't read your PMs anymore. There's no notification why you got banned and for how long. All you get is a PM that you can't open anymore. I thought this might be interesting for the mod/forum team.

    PLS REPORT THIS POST so that some mod will see this. Even though I got banned I'd like to improve the new forums. Also while you're at this, you might even tell me why I got banned and when the ban is going to expire.

    I don't think he meant to attack you. He just pointed out that everyone who's been here for a while KNOWS that most releases are broken.

    Well, it sure felt like an attack. To go around suggesting that players are wrong simply because they're new does not lead to a healthy community dialogue It leads to dangerously destructive elitism and ego warfare. I pray to God that isn't the sort of community I've joined.

    Don't worry, some people on here tend to be a bit cynical and pessimistic. That's not your fault of course, so don't pay too much attention to it.

    Making threads intentionally to try and drum up negative expectations before anything actually even happens is saddening, especially as I am working hard with the team in order to implement positive changes as well as monitor the situation. Don't create these threads, please.
