Wow, I did not see a new ZEN related item coming right after a Dilithium Weekend. Surely this was just a coincidence and not another pathetic attempt on Cryptic's part to get the Dil Exchange skyrocketing again. I'm also not being totally sarcastic in this comment.
Wow, that Akira/Alita looks mean! And the shiny trim on the side is just icing on the cake. This T6 visual update is miles above the original Akira model they have. I hope they'll also eventually update the older models though. They are in desperate need of a "refit".
My main concern about the constant releasing of T6 ships at level 50+ effectively nullifies the existence of the T5 ships that are available at 50+.
Since level 40 is where we gain access to Tier 5 ships, shouldn't the existing T5 versions be made available from level 40?
Aside from that, the beautiful designs of the Federation and Klingon ships both brought a tear to my eye. (Did you know I only have one eye?)
Unfortunately, like the Ar'Kif and Ar'Kala before it, the Jhu’ael just doesn't look so pretty to me. I'm really not sure why I feel that way about these ships as they are my preferred Romulan ships in terms of performance, but their design just never won me over.

I will also say this trait ironically does not achieve its pinnacle on an Escort Carrier, where things often do not survive long enough to take full advantage of it, but rather on full carriers and Flight Deck Cruisers and Dreadnaught Cruisers.
This is another unjustified money grab. How about make a blog on all the bug fixes that should be done... at the top of the list: Cloaking Bug of 1/11/11.
The Federation HEC seems sweet looking. Still need to see it from more angles, but it looks like a good design from what I can see. As a huge NX Class fan the ships somewhat similar in design, like the Akira Class and the other variants of the HEC , have a soft spot in my heart. This one seems to look cool enogh and refined enough to be worth having.
I'm glad the Klingon one looks like a proper Klingon ship again and not like a plastic toy *cough* Negh'tev *cough* pilot raptors *cough*. The design looks great from this angle and I need to see more of it before I judge, but I think it'll be one mean loking ship. And it's a nice addition for the roster that was missing since forever, KDF players will enjoy this one. We have clearly entered the 'Age of the Raptor' KDF-wise and as a Raptor fan I can't say I have anything agains that, we've been dry on raprtors for too long before T6 hit.
I don't really care about any Romulan ships beyond a T6 T'Varo anymore. Hit me up with that one and we'll start talking.

I do like the look of the Alita. I already have the Armitage, so I'll have to see some stats and the console set before I pull the trigger on picking it up. But so far I like what I see.
When the Armitage came out, I suspected nothing.. but with the Alita here, the pattern becomes obvious. I can't help but wonder which will be the next in line. Votoms?

You're probably right on both accounts, but i figured I'd ask and get confirmation. Personally i like the B'rel pets, but after flying the mirror version of that Vo'Quv Carrier i started to really dislike the sheer lack of mobility.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
There is one positive here: KDF finally has a C-Store escort carrier (or flight deck raptor, escort raptor, whatever you wanna call it).
The negative (one of many): Since the Qa'tel is apparently based on the Qin, it will get pretty bad stats.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
So far they've released a T6 Avenger class and announced a T6 Akira. All I need now is a T6 Odyssey and all my Feds will have T6 versions of their preferred ships. So long as the the BOFF layout is decent I'll be a happy chappy.
Three absolute beauties. The Alita is a true improvement to the Akira design, she's so sleek.
As for the next level...hmm. It might be a bit throwback, but we've got Akira, Armitage, and Alita. How about we go classic and name the next version the Eiko. As in A-Ko.

According to Geko, Science Ships coupled with the KDF and Romulan styles don't sell very well. He, also, said that it might be a possibility down the line aka after all the high-selling T6 variants are done.
I've always loved my Armitage, it was one of the few ships that I invested a T5-U upgrade token into... Never regretted purchasing that ship.
Now it seems I'm gonna need more Zen.
Edit: Also, what is with that saucer on the T6? That beasite looks mean... I might just use my 'ramming speed' ability again. Thing looks like a saw blade. Hehe
Edit 2: Oh, any plans on making new Fed/Kdf/Rom hangar pets? Or will these things come standard with Peregrines/To'duj/Scorpions?

Oh and since the cordinated assault says pets, not just hangar bay pets, I wonder if the trait will work on things like the odysessy's pet Aquiris Raider, Saucer Seperation, and disposalible pets like the Scorpions fights you launch with from a device slot, or say a Phaser Turret Platform from a device slot (it'd be cool to have a turret platform fire a beam overload).

That is reserved for carriers and dreadnought carriers (Xindi-Aquatic Narcine, Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier).

Wow, I didn't expect this. I had a feeling we'd be seeing more T6's this week but I thought for sure it would be the Defiant T6. Maybe they're purposely waiting on that one because they know it's one of the ships we know for a fact is coming so they're making us wait longer for it lol. I don't mind though because I'm still patiently waiting for my T6 Odyssey Tactical Cruiser or T6 Sovereign Class.
Just a question. Are the Armitage/Ar'kif consoles (Torpedo Point Defense/Focused Singularity Modulator) going to work with their respective T6 ships?
