Smedley steps down.

First the buyout of SoE, then mass firings which included Dave Georgeson, then virtual silence about EQN, and now Smedley gone.

Its getting really hard to have hope that EverQuest Next will be more than vapor when news like this is way more common than info about the game.

    Oh I agree, no love here for him either. It just seems like one hit after another for SoE/Daybreak lately, and nobody from the company seems to be getting out in front of it for PR/damage control. Its just weird.

    Im pretty sure hes was president when SWG underwent the NGE... Ive had a pretty low opinion of him since then... (not low enough to want him dead, but only barely...) but I say good riddance...​​

    Yes he was.

    You know, right about now it's the 10th anniversary of SWG getting NGE'd >:)

    Yep. If not for that guy I would STILL be playing SWG today.

    Yeah, I bet he left because of that clown harassing him and all that clown got was a Finnish prison sentence.
