Starbase 57 is under attack by the Borg. You have been ordered to defend it and prevent the Borg from taking over a strategic location. A Special Unit from Fleet Network Prime have been researching Borg NanoTechnology. Their research is vital to the Omega Fleet and the defense of the Quadrant.
Expect heavy Borg Assault Teams, Equip Remodulators before engaging in combat.
Head to Deep Space K-7 in Eta Eridani Sector for further orders.
(This Mission is currently undergoing testing and refinement. Please play if you like. Starbase 57 will be undergoing remodeling in future updates)
Constructive suggestions are welcome. additional upgrades are expected.
(The starbase map might get a complete upgrade over time, before it's fully completed)

Been looking at some new foundry missions. I'll try this out later today.
Edit: Played the mission. Awesome ground combat.
Suggestion for inside the borg cube: Change "beam out" to "beam out prototype" or "beam out victim" to avoid confusion.
I even died once in this mission and that is something which has not happened since i got my full XII together.
I hope this becomes a spotlight mission.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

So I guess that makes the combat "just right"?
I will probably make the suggested interaction changes. I also plan to add a lot to the last Starbase map. Some Roleplaying options, and Information Gathering... I hope everyone enjoys it....

Lots of ships, but I'll go with a Heavy escort U.S.S. Amsterdam NCC-93210
One of my earliest ships and one with a build that can still hold its own.

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
I realize that it has been a long time since the last post, but don't execute this zombie just yet.

I am very happy w the status of this mission and the reviews it is getting. Once I sort out the NPCs and finish the Delta updates, it will be as close to finished as I can make it.
