    Disruptor
    I ended up with Disruptor on 4 out of 9 toons. I like the proc and we have 2 disruptor related weapons sets around. Doing 33k DPS on a cannon build escort is fun and the used sets did their part.

    Phaser on fed. Disruptor on KDF, Plasma on Romulans.

    My main use Antiprotons DHC-s... Klingon alt use Polarons,and romulan use corosive plasma...

    I always use the "right" weapons for whatever ship I'm flying. Currently refracting tets on my Recluse, but Phasers on my Starfleet ships.

    I might break down and build a DPS machine and load it up with whatever the new hotness is again at some point, but I have a lot more fun recently just building the ship the "way it should be built" and then seeing how much I can push out of it.

    Poll too limited, phasers and disruptors are only 2 possibilities, I don't use either.

    Antiproton, but I do use Undine rep Phaser weapons on my Tac, until I can get Antiproton.

    Since I play my Fed tac almost exclusively anymore, I use phasers. All types. Well except those phrased bio-TRIBBLE ones. Sound like stretched rubber bands being plucked.

    So useless poll.. lol.

    Lets see. For my feds, of course phaser (only regular phaser or phased biomatter) / photons / quantums.
    For my klings, disruptors (almost any variant, nanite, polarized, biomolecular, etc they work nice all of em) / photons.
    For my rommies, plasma (regular plasma, plasmatic, or corrosive) and the hyper plasma torp / particle emission torp / or biomatter plasmatic torp.

    Of course i have some exceptions, like my Haakona that is carrying a polaron build + hyper plasma (i always loved polarons on that ship, it looks amazing).

    Or my Karf'i that is carrying an antiproton build (it fits really nice with the ship theme).

    For cross faction ships - any energy type that matches the design of the ship and the asthetics. I dont care about a weapon being best or worst, i just play for fun.

    For the OP- you better modify that poll, its completely ridiculous (where are the other energy types??).

    I think I use every energy type but phasers....feddy beams just don't suit my drones

    Plasmas were cheap on the exchange, now I'm debating between Rommie plasma and Iconian radiant AP when I hit tier 4 for both. And I keep a set of phasers in the bank for when I feel more canon-ish.

    Lets see, On my Fed character I use Antiproton, My Romulan uses Romulan Plasma and my Gorn uses Disruptors. My Fed did you Thoron infused polaron for a long time. It was pretty cool shooting yellow polaron beams everywhere.

    Fed is phasers with photons and Quantums.
    KDF is disruptors with photons
    Romulan is plasma all the way.

    Now I have other ships I use. So they use Poloran, Anti Proton, Tetryon and Transphasic. This way I can play with different builds. But these ships are my "alien" ship fleet.

    With faction-specific vessels, I tend to mostly run what that faction is most noted for. But with cross faction ships, anything goes.
