yeah from what he's said himself, he keeps getting a run around followed by 'no'

STO isn't canon, and neither are any of the books.

I have to wonder what Dorn is thinking. Worf has had the most screentime throughout all of Star Trek. The character has been developed as far as you could get without it becoming too tiresome and tedious. What more does he hope to accomplish?

everything that could be achieved as far as paramount were concerned with all those years ago. there is still some life left in the worf character, but again going back, CBS has a history of having the answer "no" written all over it especially as far as an official series is concerned.

dorn is smacking his head up against a brickwall on the issue, its better off if he got support within the fan community and did a fan made series like continues, he can still show his ideas, and if it generates lots of support it may give dorn what he needs and besides that once its proven it may not be such a massive risk for cbs to consider but then again, they are more likely to say no anyway.

Why not think of it as bringing back the TNG style of story telling?

A new series focused on the adventures of a joint Klingon / Starfleet crewed ship would be intriguing.

I always imagined Worf, influenced by his Starfleet service, would eventually lead the Empire into a new era of prosperity derived in part from a more chivalric interpretation of the philosophies of Kahless.

Worf might become something of an Arthurian hero, inspiring a kind of knighthood around a more constructive code of honor that leads the Klingons out of the current dark era of petty and self-destructive infighting and toward an outward-looking ambition of exploration and high adventure.

Live in strength. Die without fear. Endure with honor!

just like all the other star trek series that have been proposed and including the latest one star trek uhcharted all I can say is I would not hold you breath.

just read what Jonathan Frakes had to say here >

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
