Omega Reputation Space Gear. What are the most useful combinations?

Oh boy, I hope this is not the final forum layout...

Anyway, after 5 years I finally started doing the Infected and the Azure Resuce STFs. So far, I have the Nukara Deflector and Engines, and the Borg Beam, Omega Torpedo and Assimilated Console.

I am working on the Nukara Shield, but I do not know what Omega Gear (Fed) I should choose for my character.
Not really using them for any specific type of gameplay.

Can you give me a few ideas on what to grind for?

    The most useful combination regardless of build/playstyle is the one you already have, namely the Kinetic Cutting Beam and the Assimilated Module.

    Borg Deflector/Engine/Shield two- and three-set are useful if you're low on heals and/or want to go all-out in all other things for damage with reduced risk of dying. The engine is a must-have if you do a bit of sector-space traveling with it's large boost to warp speed.

    MACO is tanky and the two-set reduces the cooldown on bridge officer abilities by 5%. The shields have a nice proc where you can get power on being hit, but it conflicts with the Plasmonic Leech if you plan on getting that.

    Like ward said, the amaco two piece set is very powerful if you're using a torpedo heavy load out. Other than that, you've got the useful set already. However, it's always up to you what you want to do. Have fun!

    Sorry that I reply so late, but that new forum gives me headaches. I have trouble reading the texts.

    Anyway, I now hove the full Nukara Space Set and the Nukara Web Mines, but I have over 2000 Omega Marks and 10 Borg Neural Processors and I thought that there was some stuff that would be worth the exchange for that.
    (I dont have any Omega Rep Ground Gear, by the way...)

    Not really using a Torpedo Boat layout on any of the ships. I just need an overall "manage to survive" build :D

    To this day, it is STILL hard to match the overall utility of the Borg 2pc combo. Engine+ Deflector+Shield of your choice and Voila! You're good to go.
