T6 defiant concepts

there is an obvious fan base of the defiant here. We have requested a t6 version. Intel and pilot ships are based off the design but don't cut it for what we are asking for. Prior posts talked about consoles, bride officer seating, set pieces.. Etc. What about concept art? Here are some ideas I found that can start a design. Please feel free to add thoughts, opinions, or ideas.

Second image was picked because of the nacelles only.

If somebody has an artistic talent please feel free to have fun.

Oh and for the record.. Dual quantum torp w/ reduced damage to match single torpedo (for visuals) then two piece set for ablative armor or a dish beam overload like the show. Two piece would be with quad cannons in order to increase sales of the ships and help pay for the t6 version.

    ship is already in pipe line so no doubt the design is already fixed and in progress as we speak.

    I do like the second pic though but hey ho. . .

    Yeah, the "source" says there will be a Defiant/B'Rel/T'Varo release. It's coming but unknown when. So you Defiant guys, just hold on a bit longer ;)

    It's also rumored that a T6 Prometheus and Excelsior are also in the works, along with T6 "Escort Carriers". Of course, it could just be fake coding to throw off spies.

    I would have held off on buying the T6 Pilot Escort [Fed] had i known a Defiant and a BoP T6 were on the way.

    At least my KDF will get to enjoy a classic Trek ship at T6 level with a BOP.

    Defiant can be upgraded to T5U. And the Raider was T5 too afaik but i upgraded mine to T5U and regret it

    and maybe the Pilot ships are better and the Defiant gets a 4/3 layout like the phantom. Everying else would hurt the Phantom too much. And the pilot maneuvers are amazing , perfect to get out of the Range of Donatras Scimitar or the Crystalline Entity

    T6 Excelsior? Yes, please.I#ll take one. But they should add ventral beam arrays so they don`t fire straight through the hull anymore

    I'm a little curious as to what the T6 Excelsior is gonna look like. There are "JJ" concepts like this one. Matter of fact, there are "JJ" concepts for several of the well known classes:

    But I digress. Though I like those designs, Cryptic is clearly not going in that direction design-wise. This leaves me with no clear image of a T6 Excelsior in my mind. This'll be interesting indeed.

    With the right Pilot Spec. choices you are immune to the Crystalline Entity special attack. I am pretty sure it is the "Warp core Breach" immunity every 60 seconds that grants it. But thus far, When the CE does it's special attack, I get "immune" - unless I was just hit by a core breach.

    I love my pilot ship. Hopefully I can finally log in today and zoom around. Kinda bummed because I won't be able to finish the CCE because of this Level 3 outage affecting my logins the past few days.

    The big question to me... Will a Defiant without pilot ship traits even still be fun?​​

    OP, remember Cryptic can't use any designs that isn't their own, due to legal reasons. But you can point out interesting features that might be nice to have in a T6 defiant.

    They do have permission on some ships like the defiant or it wouldn't exist at the moment. It is possible that agreement is over? There were some made up stories of a new release. We will see in time. I personally feel they should release an iconic version like the other iconic ships. I am also curious what features they would add.

    What in blazes are you talking about? Of course they can use anything from Star Trek. I don't know what I said that gave you the impression they wasn't allowed.

    My post was to explain that they (Cryptic) cannot use fan-made designs or ship designs from other companies (which includes other Star Trek games).

    Azurianstar.. That might be the case but it doesn't hurt to have fun with it like you said... they did release a ship designed by a player. It was the space whale (Oddyssey). The best part about that ship is you could use the front nose to hold spheres back in infected space like a giant shovel. :)
