Is NADRC useful any more?

Is there any point in running the Negotiate Additional Delivery of Rare Commodities mission anymore? It seems to me that the crafting/upgrade system pretty much makes it pointless.
Also, with sector space as screwed up as it is, you're probably better selling the commodities needed for the mission on the exchange than getting the artifact.

    No, mk xii consoles drop regularly from multiple missions right now, or you can get them as a fighting loot. So no point of NADORC.

    The should do something with it - the mechanics are there, so it should be a way to make consoles that offer something different. It would be a sad mission to waste, and with slight modifications could be neat again!

    It's completely obsolete now.

    At level 60, the Experimental Console Upgrade assignment found in the engineering department head section produces the same Mk12 consoles than the NADORC chain...for free.

    Mk12 items also drop regularly in any content with level 60 enemies, although those tend to be mostly whites and greens.
