The blog just came out. I saw no official posting for them other than it.

Is the Heavy Warbird classified as a Battlecruiser now...? Or is it a casual label-slap like the Pilot Raptors and Pilot Warbirds got in the "Pilot Escort Mega Bundle"?
Comments
I've been waiting for this one for quite a while now.
In my own case, Cryptic can keep these. Don't want.
Yep, and after that something to do with Escort Carriers perhaps.
Also, I agree with vivenneanthony, the T6 Mogai is the best looking of the lot, even though its hardly any different from the two original varients. But since the Mogai was always my second favorite Rom design, behind the Scimitar (Don't hate me ) I could be biased.
EDIT: Also, am I the only one who was most excited at the prospect that this could mean they fixed the old Avenger's abaltive bridge armor bug. I'd really like my windows back.

*I can understand the reason for the desire for the Arbiter to at least be a looker, but the Klingons don't and have never cared much for the visual aesthetic of their ships.
The KDF and RRF ones look acceptable if nothing else, but that Starfleet one... I can't tell if they either didn't finish putting on the hull plating or just poured glue in a box of ship parts and called whatever they pulled out when it dried a 'T6 Battlecruiser'...
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
If your DPS is good enough, you can increase another abstract, mechanical number. And then, finally, you can turn this abstract number in yet another abstract number. And then, when you use that number, you can turn that into a ship, with a neat visual representation with a bunch of abstract numbers that may help you increase the first. Maybe you just care about that cycle of abstract numbers getting higher and number. But isn't that visual representation aspect a lot more interesting? There is beauty in there!
That said... beauty is in the eye of the beholder, too. Not just that some people may like ship X better or ship Y. Some may even think the numbers are what's beautiful.
*sigh* ... So we get about a ship a month, right? Great, so probably no T6 BoP until...August? So what, around ten months since the release of Delta Rising and the whole "Tier 6" thing? Hey, Cryptic... if you put it off just two more it could be an even year!
Oh noes, this game that costs me not a cent to play that releases regular updates and a monthly new mission these days is trying to convince people into spending money on it! And some people actually take them on on it!
And if no one buys ships, then this will also never happen.
But I think yes - if you're not happy with the game or with the ship design, whatever - don't buy it. If you're not alone in your decision, Cryptic has to do something about it. If not... You have to live with them not needing to change, at least not for their own sake.
Of course, there is no guarantee that any change is for the better.. If few people buy science vessels, and a lot buy cruisers, Cryptic's obvious reaction is to sell more of the latter and less of the former. (Though that's just another reason to not buy these ships, we don't need to give them any reasons to make more Cruisers! ).

Horizontal progression and greater depth of play I'd happily support. Garbage like these T6 rereleases though are just laziness on Cryptic's part and shows just how little they think of the playerbase (though given how many people buy this TRIBBLE, guess that assessment is correct).
Yep, we're getting everything it seems. There's enough on Cryptic's ship release schedule that will go well into 2016.

The Romulan Ship looks pretty decent, but then, it's more or less only a very slight variation on the Mogai/Valdore, so I guess that's both good and bad.

If the KDF can get a Fleet D7 (that can be upgraded to a T5-U), the Feds should have a Fleet Exeter.
