What about my pearls and corvette?

This year seems that the prize for risa activities are not the pearls, but something else.
Now, I have all my toons that has the previous corvette almost done....now I have to throw away everything and start all over?
Before you ask me to waste time grinding stuff every day, and then you decide that we can TRIBBLE who didn't completed the task, because who cares?
At least convert the old event assignment in the new one, updating the progress accordingly; this is really a way to say that you don't give a damn about players, which btw may be lifetimers like me.
Is not just for the ship, but it is a display of poor understanding about how to please your customers. Not only it is a pain that ships are not unlocked account wide, but then you also take away what was already done.
If you expect that people can play every day; sorry to break that dream for you, but many people actually work and has a family; and play online is just a fraction of the activities that can be performed, limited to the weekend at most.
Before PWE, things liike this wouldn't happen.

You can use this years vouchers to complete that. There is no need to convert. Those ships are unlocked account wide. You seem to be complaining about issues that do not exist.

You can use exiting pearl to finish those projects.
You can use vouchers from this year to finish those projects.
All event ships are now account wide unlocks. so no need to repeat them on additional toons
And there is a event rep store for trading unused pearls for other things
The vouchers are gotten from running the "flying High" mission, just like last year.
The vouchers are a dayly stack of 40 (just like the pearls were in stacks of 40) use them exactly the same.
One the character with the ship started, finishes it, then you get it on all your other toons as an unlock. Have one toon finish off the corvette (or cruiser) and have another one start on the new ship if you decide you want to go for it. It's a nice ship, you got time.. do it.
Any of your other toons also with the corvette or cruiser from previous years still in progress... you only need the project active on ONE toon, to get it for all of them.. (Free, Free, Free. No additional anything to pay/grind/run, as long as they can access the event store on the event rep tab of your character display, they can get them. For summer event thats one lohlunat favor.
Next time something like this crops up.. post; "Hey, I'm a little lost.. What do I do?". Everyone get jerk replys man. Learn to recognize them in the first sentence, and move to the next reply.
Hopefully you now know what you need to. Check the web site news blog entries once in a while. And read them. Some of the folk at Cryptic are really good and packing a phenomenal amount of information in a short post.. Some.. aren't so good at that. *shugs* Ya want' perfection? You may be in the wrong universe for it.

This year I noticed the change and got pissed. I already have committed the pearls to the task; so I do not have them in my inventory.
I will try one quest and see if it will add to the task that I have on my toons.
BTW the risa corvette was not an account wide unlock, but was per toon; otherwise people won't be so wackos to run the same quest over and over for all their toons
If this changed later, good thing; I do not read every single release note nor news; when I have time I play, when I don't, I have a life to enjoy. I read sometimes articles when I run the launcher to play, and see what is going on...but if I don't log in to play, I do not know what is going on.
Thanks for your reply; I wonder why these info does not pop up in the question mark icon, like it happens when a new update is up.
OP next time I would strongly advise at least taking 5 minutes to skim the news realted to the events. You could have learned all what you have been told in that 5 minutes instead of taking the same amount of time posting a flame like you did. 5 minutes out of your playing time to see whats cahnged is far better then ranting about things that were covered in the news. I have seen countless rants and queries in the forums that would be answered quickley and easliy by reading at least the news updates related to te event or patch. It would also save a person from looking like a jerk. No Offense but thats how it comes across.
While getting information has become easier and easier, the notion to be actually informed seems to be out of fashion.
It was never in fashion though, People are people no amount of tech can change that... OK maybe Borg can.
