I had gotten Slap happy when I started this but, I would like to suggest a New summer event for next year.
Dance Party Jumping.
Move the Dance party floor out further into the water. Maybe Make it wider, and as people do the dance party, You use your Power board to race up, Hit a Speed booster, and then up a Jumping Ramp where you then JUMP the Dance floor.
Depending on the speed of your board, Where you Perform the Jump on the ramp. Determines What move you perform over the dance floor. Earning MArks and Favors!
think about it, Racing back and forth performing jumps as people dance!

Personally I'm waiting/hoping for maybe watergun wars or something, or water balloons to throw at each other.

Very possible, but if outside of a set area they are disabled. Otherwise such could be used for trolling. Water Balloon fights DO sound cool.
I haven't tried this yet this year, but last year I was almost jumping up onto the platform the instructor stands on in the manner you describe.
I'm sure if such a thing were actually implemented, someone would find a way to use it to troll the dancers.
I'd rather see underwater stuff put in before anything else, although the mechanics for your idea are basically all there...
On Champs, you can get water balloons during the Anni Event and snow balls during he Winter Event. There are Perks ( accolades ) for tossing them at or getting hit by other players. They could at least try that on STO.

Cool idea. Would support this. I'm thinking about the big jump on the skating lake during the winter event as a model for this so the technology is already there.
I watched that episode for the first time last night (yes, I really loathe Enterprise). I think this would actually be a pretty good idea.
Tacofangs did mention he wanted to do more challenging terrain for players to jump on to get accolades. Doesn't get much more challenging than rock faces that change position.
Also, we should have floaters for our vanity pets, since I'm pretty sure that's the only way that chinese crested dog was able to get up on Archer's balcony to talk to Porthos.
Yep. I fear the same.
I still have to stand it when somebody places a disco ball at the starting area of the board race.
I'm not going ti spend money on a nerf device. I expect cryptic to nerf any disruptive influence and to punish anybody who disturbs the peace. They can shut down the abilities completely. Thus it should be no problem to stop those balls anyplace it is not wanted.
