RECRUITMENT IS CURRENTLY:
OPEN http://argo.enjin.com/forum
When I started playing STO about 6 months ago, I came looking for the RP community. It was hard to find, but when I did find it, I found an immersive and rich community bustling with creativity, events and fun people.
I found a pretty cool guild and I wanted to offer it up to any other RPers out there that are playing or considering playing STO and looking for an RP guild. If Argo isnt your cup of tea, but youre still looking to RP, we can get you in contact with other Fleets that might fit your play style well.
Here is the down and dirty on Argo:
38th Fleet ARGO
Argo is a casual medium-to-heavy RP fleet that's currently looking to bolster its numbers with creative minds!
Fun and respect is our OOC directive, with casual playtimes and a serious dedication to a no-stress no-drama environment.
We host weekly in-game events involving straight RP, foundry events, PvE content, or a mix, and have a strong forum activity as well. Forum contribution is not required, but we do use it heavily to convey information and host fleet contests.
Our vision of Star Trek RP involves a few key aspects:
1. All our members are captains, the civilian equivalent, or below, with our fleet leader being a commodore. Joining members will be a captain or below, or of civilian rank equivalent to captain or below.
2. We value unique characters and stories, and do not accept characters from borrowed IP.
3. We emphasize quality RP. To this end, we don't accept Mary Sues or overpowered characters, and we appreciate the English language. If you know the difference between alot and a lot, and use roughly proper grammar in your roleplay, we're interested!
IC Premise:
Argo's operations are based on Deep Space 13, with a number of Federation ships answering to that command. This allows us to have a variety of roleplay opportunities, from starbase counselors, doctors, to bartenders, research facilities postings, to captains, commanders, and other junior officer positions on other players' ships. So if you already have a position in mind, it's likely we'll have a place for you!

Hey there!
I can't really speak for the 26th, but I'd imagine that the public RP on SB381 doesn't always reflect all of the RP going on in the fleet. If you're interested in joining over there, I'd recommend contacting them directly to see what they've got going on during the times you usually play.
As for Argo, we definitely do have a fairly active group in the EU timezones. Our most common starting time for events is around 4pm EST (9pm/2100 GMT), which we've found is the best compromise for as many timezones as possible. We have RP going on earlier most days as well. You're welcome to come check us out and see how it goes!
I've tried discussing it with 26th Fleet but only really by PMing people who happened to be on the base when I played and asking them, (and finding that they didn't know or didn't seem hopeful), so I'll bear that in mind too. (But I think you've hooked me.)
Actually, I should admit that I may or may not still be playing after March, though!
