This has a friend explaining the steps involved in doing the summer event activities. We also through in a few STFs. This video does contain adult language.
Next time you post a video, please let me know that the third and forth audible words are "mother f*****er", especially when it's a tutorial and my kids were looking over my shoulder....
Somehow, people think this kind of language make them look cool...

I will definitely do that. Sorry about the inconvenience there. I will be sure to change it to warn of language at the beginning of the video. I have kids also and I know how frustrating it can be watching youtube with them in the room. I am used to doing this with M rated games were it is implied that kids should not be watching any videos on it. With this game being rated T I figured the same rules apply but at the same time the audience for it can consist of children of 12 or older. I probably should not be under the assumption that all children over the age of 12 have heard bad language or at the very least certain parents not wanting to over expose their children to it.
Thank you for your kind reply. My young kids don't play STO but love Looking over my shoulder and watching me play. I've been playing sto for a number of years now, but have never done the summer event. I saw your thread on the tutorial and thought I'd check out out... then the bomb!
I'll still check out the video you posted, one of these nights when the kids are in bed and I can turn the volume down...

No problem. I am glad that you will still check it out. I get how kids like to watch games that are a bit older for them. I have to tell my kids no when they want to watch me play GTA 5 because of the themes in the game. They just like the planes and cars. But I have always been okay with them watching STO as even for a T rated game there are little adult themes in it.

Too funny. But also as he says his kids like to watch the videos with him. With kids they always want to participate in more adult activities by watching shows that you watch or like. I can't peel my kids away from the tv when I play a game with cars and planes. Again like GTA 5. So it is hard to keep them away from offensive material.

Yes, because you can predict there is strong language in a video before watching it and take necessary precautions before watching can't you?
I want to make it clear that I do support the use of offensive language for entertainment purposes (obviously). But at the same time it is impossible to tell without there being a warning. Especially when it comes to a game that is not rated M. It should fall upon me to at least leave a warning.
Thanks for the vid, I got everything done, I really only want the DOFFs but damn if I can get that Fireworks Observer accolade. It's at the point where I just find a late day Risa and go clean up my gaming room or something as I have all the favour I need, I just need to get that one accolade.
In any case, I haven't seen the fireworks yet, do I have to stand by the big brazier on the beach, or on the pier? I've tried both.
It took me an hour of instance-hopping to finally find the Trill-Klingon argument, and the fireworks accolade completed automatically somewhere in there. One thing i noticed at least for me, each numbered instance is just slightly behind the previous one. For instance, if i were sitting on the transporter pad on Risa #10 and the suns had just set, i could re-instance to #11 and watch the suns setting again, then move to #12 and watch it all over again. For the accolade hunters like myself, this might be an important tidbit of info as the fireworks and the argument don't always happen.
It was a bit like time-travel for me, as i donned my temporal jumpsuit and instance hopped to different times of day looking for just the right moment...

I did catch some footage of me getting the fireworks accolade. But I don't think I used it for this video. But It does seem to be timed. I also don't think it is set for every in-game day. I could be wrong on that.
