Exchange Shopping - Best Value for your EC ?

What's items or ships do you guys think give the best bang for the buck.

For example, Leetch and Kemo1, both are very useful, but a little pricey imo.
Free market and all but, to get either of these is a little expensive (they are worth it though)
But I don't really consider those great deals.

So I ask, what do you guys think are the best steals on the exchange ?

Gambling device imo should be right up there with the best bang for your buck items...

We got doffs boffs traits, ships, commodities, weapons...
What are your must haves ?

Beam and cannon cool down doffs used to be really expensive, like 50-70m each sometimes. Elachi survivor pack made them much much cheaper.

The year 4 party horn, which makes a loud whistle and shoots up confetti is a steal, it's lots of fun.

    Contraband is cheaper than ever.

    Contraband ...nice one.

Looks like I need to take a look at the beam/cannon CD doffs again. Remember those being super expensive.

Blue (rare) Matter/Antimatter A2D and the Warp Core Engineer cleanse doffs. Xindi doctors for medics are insane. Particle Emission torp, TR-116 (or whatever it's called), Gambling Device, mk 14 weapons with desired mods and rarity.

Never even looked for that on the exchange. Could be useful on my tac characters.
What does it go for? 1-2M?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Usually 3-4 mil. 1-2 mil would be a steal.

I have one not only on my character, but also on all of my BOffs. Great for boosting their Critical Chance. I see it as the best ground device in the game.

If you use gav well, the exotic emitter science console -- pgen + shields in one console, with a chance to get a third console on rarity upgrade. The VR mark XII are dirt cheap on the exchange.

The best deal used to be the Rechargable Shield Batteries when they were below 64k. I bought about 100 of them and gave them to my fleeties, and sold there extras when they spiked. Dont know what the bestare now, but I am sure they will end up going hiher in value soon.

To put it lightly the rechargeable shield batts were actually more of a "steal", back in the day.. Badump ching (im sure somebody here will get that)

And the best bang for your ec buck is anything somebody forgot a zero on. Just two days ago somebody donated a crtdx3 wide arc plasma dhc to me for the blowout price of 1,600,000 ec.

TR-116B Sniper Rifle Mk XII [Dmg] [ShPen]x4
DPS-Bronze, DPS-Silver, DPS-Gold, etc. are FAKE! They were created by an outvoted minority who destroyed the original DPS channels!

Tactical Team sucked, once upon a time. I got it buffed. Don't think for a minute that Cryptic ignores forum feedback.

Action emitter console for feds is very affordable and makes shuttle missions stupid easy. A must have for anyone who hates shuttle missions. Also great for drainers.

Most of the lobi costumes are far more affordable then their lobi cost indicates. I love the voth light soldier outfit for my kdf characters.

The new xindi ground weapons are also very cheap for solid boff equipment.

But the best steal are green, blue, and purple chefs and bartenders. Buy blue chef for ~80k grind down into 9 random whites that each sell for ~28k or donate to fleet projects.

Just fine, however they don't keep rolling until they get a good bonus, they just use whatever result pops up.

I give mine tribbles not gamblers as a result

I don't buy from the exchange often. When I do its the lock box ground weapons. I got a nice collection for each of my characters to have fun with.

They are pretty good values for the price. Though I recommend only mark 4 or higher because the mark 2 are limited to blue quality.

I usually sell spare Mark XII Sonic Antiproton weapons from Nukara boxes there for 9,990 EC since they don't sell if much higher. Mark XI for 8,880. Dirt cheap for VR AP.

I equip mine with horta. Its funny to have an away team of engineers, seeker drones, turrets, & three hortas at once.

They tend to use it pretty often. Fortunately if it fails, it only lasts for a minute, and then they'll use it again. Sometimes they'll use it again when they already have it active, but I'd say that 95% of the time they are walking around with the boost active. You can always open the status window and trigger its use manually if needed, but I rarely find that I need to. It's pretty much "set it and forget it".

UR Exciter and Conductive consoles. Only 2-3 versions are going for anything.
