I looked at the stats for this ship though I think that I can do without it. The trait looks okay and so does the console but the ship itself is a different story. But I do kind of want to get it just because. What are your thoughts on this ship

It's like five to ten minutes of work a day for about three weeks and then it's permanently available to every character you ever make. Yeah I'd say it's probably 'worth' it even if you don't use it straight away.
Well, the trait is nice for my sci captains. It is the only free pilot ship so far (so I do not need to pay to see how pilot abilities work). It comes with bank and exchange on board (I think). I like how it looks.
How much is a free T6 SCI-Scort worth for your ship lineup? There are existing T6 ships already ingame that does the exact duties of the Nandi, only better.
I think it looks pretty solid. Reasonably durable, makes an easy fawscort, can run DHCs if you have something to reduce tac cooldowns, can play with pilot stuff without buying pilot ships or use the sci slot to bring Gravity Well to a fight. Well rounded and versatile ship for a variety of playstyles.

I wish we could confirm the onboard bank and exchange. This question was asked yesterday and Trendy wasn't able to answer much about the bridge/interior.

Was asking myself if it was worth the effort to get a trait for all my characters, but only having to do on one character... its a done deal
For me it's worth getting but I have no characters I'd use it for. That sounds weird but hey it's a free ship in that it doesn't cost zen. Personally though I'd rather have a Risa T6 science ship or bridge packs for the existing Risa ships.
Looking on the stats on the Nandi, I would say that it is probably definitely worth it. Looks to be a great ship for Alts and Free to play characters. Heck I will probably shake it out on my main just to give it a try.
I'm definitely gonna pick the Nandi up for my Ferengi privateer, but I was noticing in the blog today that it can also equip the D'Kora's old Battle Module 3000 (as they are now part of a set).
This is the device that gives the D'Kora its signature "Battle Mode".
SO what I'm incredibly curious about is, does the Nandi also gain a Battle Mode and the associated abilities, once it's equipped with the Module? I mean, the ship does kinda look like it could have an animated transformation associated with it.....

I'm sure someone rich in lobi will start showing off with it any time now.
So does it have a unique bridge and all the D'kora facilities (Dabo, exchange access, trade contact)?
The blog makes it sound like it has a unique bridge.
However, I don't think any dev has specifically stated if it has analogous amenities to its predecessor.
I need to get to him. I can't just leave him out there alone. - Sometimes you've got to makes sacrifices, Lara. You can't save everyone. - I know about sacrifices. - No, you know about loss. Sacrifice is a choice you make. Loss is a choice made for you. - I can't choose to let him die, Roth.
Yeah. IMO, the only thing better than the D'Kora bridge is the Suliban Cell Ship bridge, which has a few DOff missions extra and a Ship Selector, but doesn't have Dabo. You also can't take the SCS into most STFs...

You should decide for yourself rather than asking the forums and going with the majority, I'm definitely getting the Nandi.
Both mebbe? ^.^
The patch is not huge but there was some problem with the patcher at first. You may need to restart the launcher to get it to speed up.

I was Klingon before Klingon was cool.
According to Trendy it uses the D'Kora bridge directly.
