  Forgive me if this question has already be answered elsewhere. Does this change apply only to the summer event ships, or will ships from the winter event and other special events also become account-wide unlocks? In particular, I can think of the following ships from special events:

  Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider
  Breen Sarr Theln Carrier [T6]
  Support Cruiser Retrofit (Ambassador)

  That's all the ships that I can think of right now, but I have may missed some. Note that I already have an account-wide unlock for the Support Cruiser Retrofit (Ambassador). It was given away for free at some point, long after the initial appearance of "Temporal Ambassador".

  
  This would be handy to know what ships will and won't be on the list of reclaimable ones.

  Would be nice if they included the Bulwark, JHAS, JHSS, and Sheshar too.
  
  And given the console set for the Nandi, maybe Lockbox and Lobi ships as well.
  
  I won't even be upset if it costs Zen per ship to buy Account unlocking of them in the Account Store.

  my guess is anything that unlocked as part of the reputation project or through the exchange of event currency's.

  this is a very good move in more ways then one for us players, not only will we now be able to claim these ships on alts who never got them we will also be able to discharge these ships at any time and reclaim them again later.
  good for anyone who is tight on ship slots, only remember to remove your gear before discharging ships or you will loose it.

  When I think about everything we've been through together,

  maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

   and if that journey takes a little longer,

  so we can do something we all believe in,

   I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

  Something tells me it'll only be the Risian ships for now, and that they'll likely add the winter ships to it once the winter event arrives again.

  I know the devs do some odd things sometimes but I really don't see this happening, theres just no reason to not include all event ships at the same time.

  Here players will be able to claim event reputation project starship rewards earned on any character.

  
  Emphasis mine. At the very most, this could be read as including summer/winter event ships plus the DSD and the Samsar. Not mission rewards or other non-rep project ships.
  
  We'll see after the patch.

  It will drive up zen sales for additional ship slots since most delta toons probably lack free slots.
  So it's a good thing for cryptic and the players. :P

  I question a lot of game decisions Cryptic has done with STO. But I have never questioned their ability to make money in STO.

  Actually, thats a great idea, anyway, i'll love to have the kamarag, the bortas and the oddy again.. i have 12 alts, only 2 of them has those..

  I would expect the opposite. I plan to dismiss my Breen ships and Samsar, since I will now be able to retrieve them at any time should I want them (or their consoles). I'll require fewer slots than I do presently.

  add to that the fact that there is a sale on services just started including a 20% discount on ship slots.
