Risa Holiday Event is nearly here!!

Ah Risa...

I'm really looking forward to Risa starting this year. It feels as though when Risa starts, I can start my summer holiday. It's a breath of fresh air (for STO as well as me). I don't really care about all the activities that happen (although I like them too) it's the atmosphere it creates - the rising and setting sun, the waves lapping on the beach, the fleet parties... and the women, Mmm mmm. I met my first real woman on STO on Risa about 3 years ago. It lasted longer than the usual holiday romance.

The best thing about Risa is...... ?

    Floaters. Floaters are some of the most fun I've had in Star Trek Online. Been on Risa a couple of times for RP stuff, and it's always funny to see people go like "how did you get up there!?"

    Out of everything awarded or sold on Risa, there is absolutely nothing I want.
    I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

    swim trunks and the nimoy board are on my list for my main includingg the kit modules for all 4 of my toons. Great I have to do this stuff 4x a day @_@ Oh well free is free! Yay!

    Evee's! Umm, Caracals! Yeah, I usually don't make such a big deal of pets in STO, but they are just too darned cute that I already can't wait to get my first one! Just hope someday we get to do more with our pets like some kind of interactions or even commands to like stay in a certain place or go to a certain place like we do boffs.

    Really looking forward to it, though let's hope they didn't TRIBBLE something up like during the winter event last year. The last thing I need is a summer version of the whole "tides of ice" debacle.

    The powerboards are probably the most fun bit for me. The ships I get the most use out of obviously, but the boards are just fun.

    i remember risa i think thats where i threw water on reyan. =P i love risa i always have a blast there and the new ship is always a bonus plus ^_^

    It's nice that they added more Off Duty clothes you can wear off Risa.

    I need to get that geologist DOFF for my Delta Recruit and I want to try out the new kit modules.

    I did not really get into the power board thing last year, so maybe I'll give it a try this year.

    I enjoy all the activities on risa including the power board, floater and dance compo.

    I was hoping now they have made it so you only need to do the ship on one character they would offer a choice of risian favours for alts to do the daily challenge as this is one of my favourites.

    also enjoy the sandcastle event and raising birds.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    I'm exited for Risa as well. Those summer kit modules look sweet, and I will definitely be getting the Nandi across most of my alts. Well done on the summer event prep devs!

    ...enjoying the awesome company of my friends and fleets while having a good time with all that's offered there, even if it's watching a sunrise or sunset.

    Sometimes I wish they'd ease off on the weather controls. Nothing like a great big thunderstorm building on the distant horizon, and then lighting up the skies well into the night and electrifying the atmosphere.

    The floaters and powerboards are fun of course, but since you can use those outside the event... I'm saying space Eevee's :D
