I still don't get why people want the Typhoon, its a fat sovereign with an exceptionally poor texture map. The model would need a big revamp to bring it up to Cyptics current standards, same with the Jupiter really and that's just ugly (my opinion of course) from the outset.

Not saying it shouldn't happen, obviously there are people that like them, I just don't get it.

Oh, another proposal for dreadnaught super battleship CMDE engi LTC tac stock cruisers.

I vote for a Tellarite support tender or drone carrier. Something different.

    Same here.

We already have more than enough ugly Starfleet ships, Cryptics devs should rather try to make future ships (especially cruisers) just as sexy as the Pilot ships.
Typhoon and Jupiter would be a step into the wrong direction in my opinion.

But hey each to his own, even if i don't really understand why some want to fly the most ugly (starfleet-ish) ships i have ever seen.
Maybe it's just because they're called "Battleships", i'd seriously suggest to buy the Fed. Command Battlecruiser pack and call them battleships, because that's what they are.
The availlable parts give you much flexibility to make the ship either look really good or pretty weird imo. You can even make them very similar to the Typhoon when using the Geneva Pylons (the tall ones), maybe that helps a bit. Because i think if they would had explicit remade the Thyphoon, they would make her just as the geneva imo. :)

For a moment, I was kind of worried we weren't going to have enough T6 Fed Cruisers.

The 3 ships don't make a good pack, I don't think it would be possible to have interchangeable parts like the other ship packs have.

Undoubtedly, the Jupiter is ugly. Maybe even ugly as sin. But there is something to her that makes her feel like it could be a viable basis for a Federation Carrier. Maybe wtih a good overhaul of the design, it could be neat.

At this rate, we'll see the op's wish come true much sooner rather than later. They already re-doing a promo ship two months after the JHSS. We're seriously at the point in this game's downfall now where they're having to hit up the whales every 2-3 months instead of every half a year or so. We're seeing R&D promo, 9-ship pack, R&D promo, 9-ship pack, R&D promo again, ad infinitum.

Quick, get Captain Ahab in here, I've sighted a whale.

We have T6 cruisers coming out of our ears. Why add more? And why the Jupiter, of all things? It's even uglier than some of the intel ships.

I don't know if those would work. Usually most players want a 3 pack so they could mix/match up parts to create a unique ship. Also each of those are totally different ships. Usually they do the same ship with some different features. Like Tac, Eng, and Sci. Those you can't.

In this case. They should be done different as different ships.

Galaxy Dread - Get the new variation and issues fixed.

Typhoon - Updated looks and some new variations.

Jupiter - Updated looks, and be used as a Carrier.

I would go for the Typhoon, I always wanted to use that ship since I saw it.

I don't know why people want to use the Odyssey and Bortasqu' either. The Odyssey looks like it should be hauled off as garbage to the nearest scrap yard. The Bortasqu' looks like a fat slug that would be perfect for a boat anchor.

I suppose I can see why people would want it, because I imagine if Cryptic were to make it playable they would give her a update...the Jupiter on the other had is pretty much the definition of a space whale with nacelles attached and I don't know why people would want that hideous thing!

I'd rather we get an X-nought pack, which consists of the Andromeda-X, the Odyssey-X, and the Typhoon-X (which comes after the Typhoon Battleship). The pack will also feature the exclusive Terran Mirror Skin for all 3. The Odyssey-X gets the strongest lance, followed by the Typhoon-X, then the Andromeda-X.

Odyssey-X gets Defense and CD Reduction Command Inspiration capabilities and an LtCmdr Universal/Command seat. In addition, it uses an Exotic-based Lance, rather than a Phaser-based lance. Typhoon-X gets Attack and CD Reduction Command Inspiration capabilities and an LtCmdr Universal/Intel seat, and another Exotic-damage Lance. Andromeda-X gets Attack and Defense Command Inspiration abilities, LtCmdr Eng/Command seat, and a Lt Universal/Intel seat and can reuse the Phaser lance from the Gal-X.

To go with this blatant show of force (against increasing Iconian threats of course), Romulans and KDF also get similar equivalents.

KDF gets the Siege Bortasqu, Siege Vo'Quv, and Siege Negh variant (with Borasqu getting the strongest lance of the trio), all with KDF Mirror skins available for them as part of the KDF Siege pack. They all feature the same abilities and seats as their Federation-X counterparts, just with Disruptor Lance instead of Phaser on the Negh, while the Siege-Bort and Vo'Quv also get an Exotic-based lance.

Romulans get the Imperial Scimitar, Imperial Haakona, and Imperial D'khellra variants. The Imperial Scimitar features a Thalaron Lance rather than a Thalaron pulse, and the Haakona also gets a similar but slightly weaker lance, while the D'khellra gets a Plasma Lance. Aside from that, same abilities and similar seats to their Fed and KDF counterparts. The Imperial Pack features the Mirror skins for each, as well as the Leahval options and Imperial Romulan Skin for the Scimitar.

All are also available in one pack as part of the Siege Megabundle, retailing @ $120 USD.

And the Siege Megabundle comes after the Federation Typhoon bundle, which comes out after some future Specialization that involves both DPS and tanking (like Vanguard or something).

And since we're on the topic of Typhoon and Jupiter, I'd also pay for a Jupiter Bundle, featuring 3 variants of the massive Jupiter-class; could coincide with a later Vo'Quv and Romulan equivalent bundle release (or release them all together; the Jupiter will likely be a Cryptic original re-design, then new features and looks for the Vo'Quv and Romulan equivalent and some console sharing).

Jupiter Cannon Broadside - Tac-Oriented - Similar Cannon Barrage ability as the Vaadwaur Astika, but Phaser-based, and only able to fully unleash it to the sides (270 firing arc, but most of the shots are to the sides rather than to the front unlike the Vaadwaur Polaron Barrage). 1 or no Fighter-only Hangar, and 4/4 weapons.

Jupiter Super Carrier - Sci-Oriented- 3 hangars capable of launching Defiant "Frigate" pets, with a standard 3/3 Fore/Aft weapon setup. Universal Console - Emergency Reserve Scramble - Allows emergency deployment of up to 3 extra Frigates or 6 extra Fighters (1 Frigate, or 2 Shuttles, or 3 Fighters based on equipped hangar pets) which remain in combat for a minute before returning to the carrier. Adds an additional 30 seconds to regular hangar bay launching CD upon return of the extra ships.

Jupiter Siege Dreadnought - Eng-Oriented - Mounts a long range siege cannon (5 second charge, 5 degree or less firing arc limit, 20 km range, capable of piercing ships along the narrow path, AoE the width of the Beam diameter optional, 2-3 minute CD) as a fused Fore weapon with 2 more Fore weapon slots and 3 Aft weapon slots. One fighter/frigate hangar bay. Universal Console - Phaser (Disruptor/Plasma)+Torpedo Active Point Defense. Prioritizes Targettable projectiles/mines, fighter/frigate pets, and deployed special equipment (Web Mine Nodes, Deployed Turrets) within range for a full minute, before going under CD for a full 2 or 3 min duration.

And of course, the Typhoon itself. I'll take a 5/3 or 4/4 Typhoon Battleship and some original or existing analogue among the other two Factions. To throw a homage to the Achilles-class Fed "Pocket Battleship", it would have a Micro Quantum Torpedo Broadside weapon (fused to the Aft) or console (10 seconds of pure micro Quantum torpedo spam from the left and right sides, rather than from the dorsal spine similar to the Pilot ships' missile barrage or the Achilles).

Why yes, I do love large warships, and no, I'm not compensating for anything; I just love more firepower, even in short bursts (TS3 Ferengi Missile Launcher + Pilot Ship Missile Barrage console is pure joy to watch; same for TS3 Ferengi Missile Launcher + Polaron Cannon Barrage; brings a tear to my eye every time).

I'd rather see a T6 Iconic Odyssey pack with an Odyssey Command Dreadnaught, Intelligence Odyssey, and a pilot Aquarius.

Federation Dreadnought Battlecruiser - Typhoon Class

Just buy the command battlecruiser pack and use most of the science command battlecruiser skin. It's literally close enough.
