Devs help me understand this

I have been doing some searches looking for an answer with no luck. I have literally read through a dozen threads to no avail.

All the threads I went through had three things in common.
1) people that bought an Intrepid before DR and now can't get the interior.
2) these people wanting to give Cryptic money for the interior. Not one said "I bought this before, now give me the interiors"
3) not one response from a Dev. maybe they did in one I didn't read. If so please point me to it.

A couple of people even stated that they bought the limited time Pathfinder+interior just to throw the ship away.

Now let me be clear. I am NOT asking for new bridges/interiors. Tacofangs has made it clear how much time and effort goes into that (thank you Taco).

I am asking for the existing interiors (TOS, Belfast, and Intrepid) to be made available by themselves so we can buy them, or at least help me understand why you don't. Does it really take that much to put them in the C-store?

I don't want a bundle of stuff I am never going to use just to get an interior. If you really need to make a bundle of stuff how about a interior pack of the TOS, Belfast, and Intrepid. That is a bundle I would buy.

    This was just made available again in the last ship sale we had. Will it be the next time as well? who can say.

    You will not get a better offer than the single ship with interior. If you don't want the ship think of it as buying a trait and a bridge/interior.

    And that is the question. Why can't we get a better offer? Why wait for a limited time ship to get a interior I want? Why pay for three ships just to get an interior? Why pay for a bundle of stuff just to get an interior?

    Wouldn't Cryptic want to make money off the people, like me, who just want the interiors.

    Because someone handing the metrics decided that they make more money by getting people to pay for the ship to get the interior.

    That may be stupid to your point of view (and mine), but STO isn't profitable because they're making bad decisions at picking how exactly to gouge you for your $$$.

    Could it be because they know no one would buy the ship if it didn't have the interior?

    It looks like a limitation of their shop.

    Its not only the interior with the intrepid. You can extend that "situation" to pretty much everything that gets bundled up after it was sold on its own - like the galaxy pack and some others too.

    Its actually why i am very hesitant to buy anything that is not a monstrous bundle, because if it gets bundled with something i want later on, i have to pay for it again. Its a flaw in their sales system and it is costing them money. I'm hopeful they will figure out how to solve it sooner rather than later.
