They have 19 games on our list, alone. Why would they not keep making games?
And it is not showing up in our list, so it might just be for their Asian market.
Edit: Your link also shows it was produced by Nival, and I am not seeing any references that Nival is owned by PWE. Nival is a Russian game company. So this probably has nothing to do with PWE at all.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
They keep making games...its true.
Asian Market is false....European Market at least.
And our Server hicups across the PW-Games here could handle this?
Really, the Prime World-Game is good and i love STO too...
I hope they manage this without more Lags for us.
As was pointed out in my edit, Nival is a Russian game company. It is not owned by PWE. This has nothing to do with PWE.
I can only assume you saw Primal World, PW, and jumped to a conclusion.

You are going to need to be more specific on the logo issue. Perfect World has 19 games with 19 different logos - and none of them look like the mother company's logo.

Well, you just solved your own issue. Obviously Prime World is licensing through PW to use ARC as its platform in Germany - just as many games use Steam as their platform. Prime World is not listed in the US ARC category choices. It is not available to us here - at least not yet. That has nothing to do with whatever Servers are being used, though.
But that is the Prime World logo, not any Perfect World logo.

The game is channeled via Arc (like Star Conflict, APB and Stronghold Kingdoms), it is not connected to any of the Cryptic game servers so I don't see how it would have any impact on STO at all.
And yup, PWE is a game publisher, so not really a surprise more titles are coming out :-)
Cryptic is rather atypical for an MMO company. Rather than running multiple server farms across the country or around the world, they have precisely one server farm, located (so I am told) near Boston, MA. This server farm hosts STO, CO, and both PC-side and XBox-side Neverwinter. It also has the one login server, and the chat server (the reason Cryptic games can have global crossgame chat). They aren't "PWE servers", and don't host any other PWE products.
(That's what led to the so-called "region ban"; when Cryptic was purchased by PWE, the license agreements followed the pattern established by previous acquisitions, where PWE and PWI covered different parts of the world. The "region bans" were in areas under PWI control; the standard licensing agreement said that PWE properties weren't to offer coverage in PWI areas, because the servers in those areas would then be operated by PWI instead. The agreements weren't set up to take into account a case in which there weren't any servers in PWI's area.)
So no, any new games acquired by PWE (even those under Arc, like APB Reloaded) don't use Cryptic's servers, but rather their own.

theres another game that pwe has the same sort of deal with, its basically world of tanks in space, star conflict. thats made by another company as well.
i dont think pwe wants to make games any more if they can get away with sourcing out contracts to other game companies. i know aeria games used to do the same back a decade ago when they had project torque and shiaya was at the time in closed beta. i used to be something of a game moderator and forum moderator for a month as a "game guru". but that was a long time ago.
anyway, just a little bit of comparison from history.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I have always been aware that PW wants ARC to become their version of Steam. Their long-term plans would be to add as many games to the ARC platform that they can. There are several games on the Platform that are not made by PW. But I do not believe that has anything to do with them not wanting to make additional games. It is simply that games take years and millions of dollars to create whereas doing what Steam does is quick and easy. There is no reason to not try and do both.

perhaps, however steam never created games even though they had dealings with valve and gearbox, for them its simply a content delivery platform, a "middle man" for the dealings between the companies and the players. but using that steam example, have you looked at how bad their rep has become since their launch upto now? its a completely disaster site of people trying to get steam to help them out and steam just not caring any longer. its more about how greedy it could turn into rather then what it did a decade ago, by taking its customers seriously.
somehow that steam setup is still going, and more games are added every day.
the one thing going bad from the start for PWE for their ARC system is that they are chinese owned. now some may overlook that, but others will not despite the market china has. and PWEs customer rep is already on the level of very bad, it isnt exactly what you would consider an appealing aspect for other companies to sign up to them. it will be an incredible struggle for PWE to make their system even a remote success with the way things are at this time. and finally PWE are already making games, that would automatically disqualify them from certain markets as a competitor.
something will have to change so more game developers and groups would find PWE a more attractive group to forward their game to. in this occasion most ironically is their customer base, if they can improve that, it would look like a better option to work with. i mean if you were looking for a high quality keyboard, you found one you really like the look of and then researched it up, found a great deal of scathing reviews about how easily it breaks, how bad its designed and such.. would you want to throw 50 quid at it on that risk? in the same sort of way, some companies just wont risk it with such a shoddy reputation.
there is always the issue of ARC itself, it continues to persist regardless, is it a risk running it? so really steam got lucky that it was an unknown that grabbed headlines fast when it played the right hands on the poker table.
i still think its not a great thing to do by sourcing out too much though, it cant be good for the developers of these other games when suddenly these other games added to arc are even better then what they can make, it would force them into improving their product and if PWE start riding them to a quota that needs to be met, some games could end up getting canned for operating costs and to save face.

Psst i can getz star conflict on steam....tried it out and i think PWE needs to do some serious work on that train wreck its not really free to play its more like pay to advance and pay to win.
Visually its nice but after the gloss and glitter its a TRIBBLE game idk why PWE wasted money on anything Gaijin has if PWE intends to let cryptic handle it then i can see it turning around.
otherwise star conflict is a waste of money , time and resources better placed on games they already have in thier stable.

In case you were not following the thread, PW/PWE does not own Star Conflict. PW simply markets Star Conflict through ARC and takes a percentage of the sales, just as Steam does for all its games. They did not make Star Conflict. Gaijin Entertainment is the publisher.
