13th Autonomous Battle Group - Now Seeking New Captains!

The 13th Autonomous Battle Group, under special dispensation from Starfleet Command, operates on the Front Lines of the stellar frontier. We act under our own authority to Delay, Distract, and Dispense of any threat to the United Federation of Planets.

Who are we?

We are a newly formed fleet. Our command staff have been in the game since the early stages of the closed beta. We are a close knit group looking to expand our ranks. We engage in all aspects of the game, be it PVP, PVE, STF's, Ground Combat or Space Combat

What do we offer?

A Challenge, as a newly formed fleet we currently lack a Starbase, and the benefits it offers, or a hoard of fleet members. We offer a chance to be a part of our STO family and help us create something from the beginning. Help us lay the early building blocks of what we hope will be something truly great.

Our Standards:

We are currently recruiting all types of players, be they wise vets who have seen it all, or new lieutenants that just showed up on ESD, we are taking all classes, ranks, and skill levels. We offer our knowledge, and our help freely to help you better yourselves and our fleet.

    Greetings. I just achieved the rank of Captain and am I currently in command of a Sao Paolo Class Tactical Escort Refit, and at times a Galaxy Class Starship.

    Currently I am a member of a Fleet called VMS-214 Black Sheep Squadron. I was invited to join them while I was a Lieutenant. I really don't see them to be very active and they only have about 5 members.

    So i'm looking for a more active fleet with plenty of members. I play daily, mostly online from 6pm GMT to around 8pm GMT and at other times as well. I am based in the United Arab Emirates, a Middle Eastern Country.

    If you are still looking at adding Captain Ranks to your fleet I would like to have the opportunity to join.

    I regret to inform you that our member base is still quite small, however, we are very active! We've also just begun construction of our fleet Shipyard and expect our Starbase to be up and running by the end of next week. If you are still interested, we'd be all too happy to invite you into our fleet. Feel free to contact me in game or thru the forums anytime :)

    I'm very pleased to announce that as of mere moments ago, our Tier 1 Starbase has completed construction! I can't thank everyone enough for their hard work, and time invested in this.

    I have been playin since the early times although not so much of late but would like to help out if i can. I am a bit of a noob at some things but play to enjoy. i think my lvl is rear admiral. can be contacted in game thanks

    Hi Xenovi. Sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner. Was too busy making Rear Admiral Lower Half :D Just got promoted today. I have no idea how to leave my existing fleet and to send a request to join the 13th Battle Group. Will do some reading on the forums and will send a fleet request tonight. Cheers!

    Not a problem Sam. If you're looking to leave your current fleet, just head to the roster tab and it should be on the bottom, right hand side. As for requesting to join, I believe you have to be invited. I'm currently in game if you want to look me up, you can reach me @thekalamity in-game. Thanks! Looking forward to flying with you. And congrats on RA!

    Sorry Sam, I haven't been online the last few days because of holiday traveling. I should be back in game on the 27th, however you can reach another of the fleet leaders, @remo2500, and he can get you into the fleet.

    Xenovi thanks for everything. I got in touch with Remo and he sent me a request and i joined the fleet. Havent seen anyone around yet. Right not doing the Romulan missions. So i'm based around Starbase 24 and thereabouts :)

    Not a problem Sam. I typically am on more towards the evening, after 6 CST. I just got back in game last night after doing some holiday traveling so hope to catch up with you soon.


    Fleet Update:

    The Industrial Fabricator finished construction early this morning and our Transwarp gate is in the works. Excellent work everyone.

    Would also like to extend a warm welcome to our two newest members, Tiberius and Sam, looking forward to flying alongside you gentlemen.

    I'm proud to serve with the 13th Battle Group.

    Xenovi is there any possibility of focusing on upgrading the Shipyard to get it up to level 3 as quickly as possible? I will pump in everything I got to help upgrade it faster. Thanks.

    Of course Sam. The shipyard and Starbase are going to be our primary focus's while we work up the others only for Starbase XP. We should be hitting tier 2 on the Shipyard shortly, perhaps even this week.

    Forgot to mention, main projects to concentrate on for the moment i think will be the Dilithium mine, and upgrading the Starbase itself. Should probably focus there for now.
