During the delta recruit event i created 3 total recruits, 1 immediately and 2 more after the first finished the breen missions. Recently i went back to the first and finished all of the pre delta episodes. I entered the delta quadrant at level 56.9. By the end of Reunion i was level 57. Now i am level 59.6, and i am doing the feature episodes before finishing all of the delta missions. I really dont think that there should have been less than 4 levels of advancement in the delta quadrant, with out HAVING to resort to queue material.

All im saying is that a small tweaking should be considered.

I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.

Clearly you havent played any Korean type mmo...

Wish you could have played L2 or even IRO back in the day, well even today IRO is a hell of a grindy game...no story or nothing just killing mob after mob.

Go play those for a while and then come back and try to tell us again (with a straight face and without laughing) that the leveling in this game is slow...i dare you...i double dare you.

I can honestly guarantee you, i would with a str8 face, tell you the 50+ is too slow. Other peoples low standards do not concern me. It also proves why Korean mmo's do so poorly over here. Also why the Asian companies in general find the western markets so unappealing, i assume you are aware of that as well. They dont understand that you have to appeal to the customers you have, not other customers that exist elsewhere.

Then what of Destiny? SWTOR? Skyrim (see. smithing, enchanting, and gold farming)? Hell there's even STO-shaming grinding to be had in Halo [multiplayer].

Replaying content is kind of the format of the game. There's a persistent world but because its only a video game there's not enough original content to occupy one's time with. So content (ex. PVE's) is replayed and to justify that systems are developed to incentivize the additional time spent with the game. That's where we get reputations, R+D, and +50 leveling.

STO's past leveling system was insubstantial. Now its a recognizable way of providing long-term goals. That's a stumbling block to instant gratification, but if you stop looking for just that (and moderate your playtime so you don't burn completely out. Leveling 3 delta recruits would seem to do that) then the system can actually be a compelling part of the game. You put in a little time here and there and gradually it builds up into bigger rewards.

I play SWTOR, the grind is fine. Not the issue at all. The exp should be consistant, even if at a curve. You also should never get to a point where you cant finish an area. This does not happen in SWTOR, if i can start Hoth, i can finish hoth. I may have to do some grinding to get to hoth, but once i am there, there is enough to do to keep up.

Subscriber or F2P peon? I tried the latter and I couldn't force myself through Narshada because it was ALL grind. Consistent or no, it was a bad experience.

And that only happens when you "finish" an area. Try to move at your own pace and the game slaps you down for being "underleveled." STO's only equivalent is that it wants you to spend more time with it if you haven't done so already, and that only applies to the Delta Rising arc. The alternatives you have are much, much more various than the equivalent points you reach in SWTOR.
