"Out in the Cold" Bug?

Every time I go to run the "Deferi Dilithium" section of "Out in the Cold" on my Delta Recruit, I'll get to the point where I'm fighting the Breen in between the last two transport inhibitors, and then the client freezes and crashes.

Anyone know what could be causing this, or if there's a viable workaround? Because as of right now, my Recruit is stuck.
Lore posts are great, but give us real info first please!

look here, it's a known issue for players . also doesn't just affect this mission but the entire map ( you can't do the dailies either for example ) and I even posted a screenshot showing when the crash occurs .

I finished that mission on my KDF/Rom earlier today, so it's not a universal bug. Might I suggest running the "force verify" function from the launcher ? Can't hurt.

If you get the crashes, you can finish it with some persistence. DON'T FORCE VERIFY.

Keep restarting the game and try to get a little further each time. If you have AOE and over-time effects like exothermic induction field or turrets, use them immediately. If those effects and your bridge officers can clear the combat that caused the crash while you're rebooting, you'll make progress. Just because you're not their doesn't mean your bridge officers or devices are slacking off!

It seems to be some combination of being underground, the tremor effect, and grenade explosions. I turned off camera shake (options / controls) for good measure. I still had crashes, but I can't be sure if it made them less frequent or not. Can't hurt.

I have been having the same problem. I have tried several times and the games always crashes in the room with the two devices you have to turn off.

mind you : I find it pretty outrageous we have to resort to this kind of stuff to get a mission done which is part of the entire DR-event , which in turn is supposed to entice folks to start playing STO

There is no workaround. As soon as shooting starts in the area with transport inhibitors at opposite ends of the area, the game terminates.
