Quicket and least tedious ways to get to rank 60

Probably a common thread, but didn't find any recent ones in the search.

I really want to get to rank 60, however it is stupidly tedious and boring. Especially with foundry being down.

So... any suggestions? I really don't want to do boring things like replaying missions.

    There is none.

Replaying missions takes long and still gives relative low XP rewards, about 2-3k if I'm not mistaken.

Patrols give slightly more XP, are faster to complete but are mostly boring and repetitive.

Queued stuff gives TRIBBLE XP, is time gated and if you fail on advanced you get even less.

Like it or not (most likely the later) but these are your options.

SB24 will give you one level per run (maybe only with vet bonus) till 49.

Or it used to - but I certainly get all my early levels fine doing that method this last week.

50-60 is not fast. Well maybe to 55 but beyond that its really slow no matter what. If you have good doffs doing the Undine Space zone doff missions - Solanae Dyson Sphere (the ones on from the Doff button on the right hand side of the screen in the prep area) give around 20k exp per day and thats how i've been getting a few toons from 59-60 this last week.

Edit: If KDF or Rom/KDF doff the "Suppress Gorn" missions alongside the above - much faster for them to level although they don't get SB24

Haven't played one since Season 10 launched, so can't confirm if it has changed, but the Borg Red Alerts are/were a good method of obtaining additional XP as they are/were 'XP boost zones'.

True… and Fleet Alert was quick and used to give nice XP … I say " was " because now it's laggy as hell and it takes forever because of that timer slowing down effect.
How is SB24 ? Is it laggy like the Fleet Alert?

I didn't find it laggy - but I was doing low level Miranda and Connie runs so not enough time for people to really pimp their rides to particle effect heaven yet :)

I don't know about you but I like to play this game, not just one mission over and over again so I can "power level". The quickest and least tedious way to get to rank 60 is simply by playing this game in all that it has to offer. Do some patrols, do some queued content, play foundry missions, replay story missions, do red alerts, do the battle zones, and last but not least keep your doffs busy. (feel free to add anything I forgot)

As for doffing, I don't have much time during the week to actually play and because of where I live my connection isn't great for doing queued content either. Regardless I try to log in twice a day to keep my doff missions maxed and I generally raise 2 levels a week with the least amount of time in game and can hit 3 or 4 levels if I'm actually playing a lot that week.

The way I doff is like this: generally no missions for less than 200 XP and no missions greater than 12 hours. This way whenever I log in all or most of the previous missions are finished and I can run a whole new set. I usually get anywhere between 10-30K XP per log in depending on the missions and if I crit any of them, and since I login twice a day that can be about 20-60K XP per day on top of any XP I get from actually going and doing missions.

It's not super fast but I progress well enough and I believe about as fast as the devs want me to. Perhaps this is too slow for you but for me it works just fine.

    Cheers.

The best way to level from 50 to 60, in my experience, is to not set it as a goal. Think about all the other things you could be doing with your game time - Dilithium Grind, Reputation Levelling, Crafting/Doffing...the XP will come naturally on its own. I have 1 character of 6 (3 DRecruits) that's at 60, and honestly, its just a mark of how many spec points you've gotten and a pass for Elite queues - queues that you will need Dilithium and the Reputation system to be successful in.

SB24 had been irrevocably laggy for a very, very long time now. Before it used to be smooth. But it's a slideshow now. Been that way for what?... I think a year now?

Go to the Solane sphere and head to the space battle zone and use the doffing missions there. Also check your Sci, Tact, Eng and Med officers for others. Delta space also has a few that pay big for a fed. I doffed my Delta from 50-60 in under a week.

Post-revamp, I would recommend giving the new Deep Space Encounters a try. Their rewards (dil, mats, experience) are comparable to patrol missions (I tend to get around 2k SP for them, but I think it's based in part on time to complete), but they are repeatable and have no cooldown.

The catch of course is that they spawn randomly. However, they spawn on a per-instance basis--which means that if you don't see one nearby, you can just hop to another instance and look for one there.

Well, some of the foundry mission are coming up today (yay), I'll just play a bunch of those. I find foundry missions very fun and they give decent XP.
