Need a sci ship

I have and use the Korath and the Palisade still, but really I don't want to fly an alien ship. If I was a TRIBBLE fed I probably wouldn't care. Cryptic, I'd be happy with a 5 sci console enhanced battle cloak KDF ship. P.S. the Korath is still one of the coolest ever ships

    Many of us have been requesting a decent science line for the KDF for years, yet still nothing. I am hoping the silver lining of T6 is that we'll finally get some decent science ships.

    Yes the Korgath and the Temporal Destroyer are awesome looking ships. :D

    Well, the Varanus (fleet t5u) is very nice, but lacking cloak. The only kdf sci ship with 5 sci consoles and cloak is the t5u tactical dyson science destroyer. I use the same on my rom sci because there are even less proper science vessels.

    To be fair the Romulans at least get the Fleet Ha'Nom, though it's a bit big and unwieldy for my taste.

    Right now I fly a T5U Ta'Sub DSD on my main, and it works beautifully, but sadly there's no real alternative ships to choose. It's basically DSD or nothing if you want a truly Klingon science vessel.

    Unfortunately, it won't happen.

    Someone asked about it on the Priority One Facebook, and it was answered. Geko said there is no plans for a T6 KDF Science Ship. Lots of ships in the pipe, but conveniently, no Science.

    I'm just hoping that the Risa T6 ship will be a science vessel.

    Would I buy a T6 KDF / Romulan science vessel from the C-Store? Hell yes, but it seems Geko does not want my money.

    Well if that's the case I guess I'll end up using the Temporal Science ship after all and be done with it. There will be no need for me to buy a science ship after that anyway if that's the attitude that the out of touch dev's have with the player base. :rolleyes:

    They do have a T6 BoP in the works. It'll be the only T6 Klingon ship where you can slot in your Commander Science Boff.

    Where are you getting that information? The only thing known unofficially that's coming down the pipe are the Pilot ships. And the KDF one looks more of a cross between a Vor'Cha and Raptor than anything resembling a BOP.

    I foolishly made my Deltalt a Science captain, so now I get to either

    1. Open up a ridiculous amount of gamble boxes trying to get a Temporal vessel, or

    2. Take a week or two to sell a bunch of stuff to buy one off the exchange.

    Likely, I'll probably just settle for a Talshiar destroyer, with them being so cheap ATM and all. Although, I won't be happy I don't get a Klingon ship.

    I would be angry, if not for the ridiculousness of it all. :D
