Communication seems to be a problem on it, when getting players to deactivate the iconian tech in a number of seconds.
Also the heralds weaponry is way over powered against level 14 gear.
The easy mode is more like advanced so far to high in difficulty.

suggest you look first before you throw up an entitlement claim. if your not bothered to find the information to your issue, you shouldnt play these stfs.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

    Too difficult on "easy" ?

All you have to do is click 3 Items and survive for ~20s ... repeat 4 times ... done ...

Lol, it's only difficult on normal if more than 2 people on the team don't know what they're doing and think the objective is to kill as many Heralds as possible.

I ran with a team that knew what to do and it was a breeze with mk XII gear.

To anyone reading this and is playing it on normal, no, it's not a pew pew fest. Stick to the objectives and on the very last room kill the Herald.

Lol im using level 12 gear and it's doable for me on Elite.

Only problems im having is with those damn side missions... "Save the Syndicate operative".. you have 5-10 seconds before he's killed.

Sound like the rest of the team is dragging you along then
    Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
    Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng

JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse

Too difficult? L2P! Yes, L2P. You dont even have to kill much, just 1 squad of heralds and the Boss. Learn to communicate via the chat. Thats all you need for that mission.
In fact you only need one more for it, one teammember capable of understanding the very easy objective. Since one player can deactivate two devices (the first and one of the seconds).

If you cant do that, dont let the doorhandle hit you on the way out.

Sheesh, got out of bed on the wrong foot this morning? No need to be so snarky, you know...

Yes OP, I agree with you wholeheartedly, the normal version of this STF is too difficult.... way too many mobs that hit way too hard...

The only difficult part is rescue orion. With science character I had no problem with this. I could see other careers having some difficulty. Not sure of the temporal device works on him. So you heal him then run to the slums area indicated on the map. He will follow you quickly. Yet still the group attempted to activate devices while I was on the way. You have to hope that they wait until that mage boss is dead - then you have 15 to 20 seconds to get him there. Just hope they fail the first time with the devices. The mission is also easier if 1 other person understands.

In the long run I think you'll have a good 50/50 chance to pug.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

I can only agree with my former posting, either l2p -its really simple, really- or just dont queue for it ;)

I find communication is key in this mission.

Take the time before the mission begins to formulate a plan where the team decides to go for, or not, the optionals. If people do not want to go for the optionals the mission is amazingly fast, you just deactivate/disable devices.

If you go for the optionals then know that you should check the health and heal the Orion/Operative before engaging with them-perhaps you can heal him on the run.

You can also heal the Fireteam before you engaging them, and I believe after, they start walking.

A channel mate mentioned that the Honor Guard just needs to be escorted. I'm not sure if they can or need to be healed.

Tactics for the successful Elite mission I ran:

Everyone agreed to and explained them before hand:

    First, clear the room.

After that run optionals and mandatory goals.

After running whatever goals and optionals then you deactivate the devices.

The goals was to keep spawns to a minimum, focus team efforts, and concentrate on the task at hand-like killing off mobs spawned by optionals. Working in these stages left the team with 1+min to deactivate devices.

Mk XIV, and I was getting melted on normal.

I suspect there's more at work than just the simple difficulty system.

It does seem to get easier at higher difficulties, even beyond what you'd expect from having more competent teammates.

With Google translate, probably quite a few.

    I have it.

Unless you mean to say I should be capping at 75%.

50% energy DR, just got hit for 629 on advanced (elite queue is too slow).

It wasn't much better when I was pushing 60% in the counter-command exo armor.

Seems like they have PC levels of crtd.
