Okay so this may be an odd question but I'd like an answer. Im still not sure what career in what faction im committing to yet. So i thought, why not pump out one of each career in each faction so whatever i decide in the end to settle on i can have delta recruit status.

Due to the fact that we have to complete the tutorial though I'm uncertain where the stopping point is. Does the tutorial end when the tutorial headline is gone? Because if that's the case then it ends before the starting mission is complete in some cases.

Is it when we talk to our factions leader? After we visit the costume and ship editor? After we talk to the temporal agent? Is it different for klings feds and roms? When exactly does the tutorial end and our delta status is permanently locked in?

For the Feds, I believe it's after you finish the mission "Welcome to Earth Spacedock". For the KDF, it's been so long that I don't remember. And for the Roms, I believe it's when you get to the flotilla (all should happen when you're level 3-ish)

I think Delta Recruit Status is actually "established" when you met your future self and get that tesseract device.

Nope - you have to get your character to the point the 'Delta Recruit' window is on your UI and when you click the button, you see all the DR items you need to achieve for DR rewards. Once that's on your character's UI - he/she/it is a 'Deta Recruit' and for both Fed and KDF that happens while still in the tutorial.

That said, I had gotten all my new DR characters (I made one for each faction) past their tutorials completely; and Cryptic has said you need to get those characters trough the tutorial during the event; so I don't know if they'll remove DR status from any character that isn't past their respective tutorial on the day they turn off the DR event.

That was my biggest concern. I know the delta recruit symbol is there. I know I got the tesseract and met my future self. I even know its in the ui. But the devs said you had to complete the tutorial so I at least want to do that. Just in case they do remove delta recruit status. The tutorials arnt long but I just wasn't certain what part was the end. Lets hope the wiki is correct because I'm going off that.
