UNITED! (Minus the Dominion :P)

The Milky Way fights for freedom... except for the Gamma Quadrant, who is too awesome to join this war. :P

I know, I know... beating a dead horse here, but as awesome as the poster is, it's a bit disingenuous. IT'S THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER! :P

It more like a fraction of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants with a few individuals from the Delta Quadrants who have decided to join the Fed / KDF / Romulan Alliance.

I would say it more like 5% of the Milky Way galaxy unites to fight the Iconian War.

The war has only just begun, never know who might show up to save the day in 10.5.

The universe has a wonderful sense of humor. The trick is learning how to take a joke.

The Iconians have already crushed the Dominion. We just have not heard about it in the Alpha/Beta Quadrants yet. :)
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Solanae gave their assessment to not engage the Dominion until they have the entire Alpha/Beta quadrants under their control.

They know not to F*CK with the Dominion

The Dominion took their ball and went home. Same with the Tholians.

I think theyre more worried about spreading themselves thin. The original plan was to soften up the Alpha, Beta and Delta Quadrant Powers and then conquer them at their weakest. But thanks to your Hero Character, that wont be happening.

The Dominion unlike the rest of the Galaxys Powers are very structured and designed to be loyal to the Changelings. Things like Authority and fire power is thoughtfully split from one species to another so that you dont have different groups vying for power. So they wouldnt be easily manipulated like the Alpha, Beta and Delta Quadrant powers were. Their fight would be an outright war of attrition.

Had things gone to plan for the Iconians. We'd still be beating each other senseless for another decade or so in the Fed-Klingon War, the Romulan Republic would of buckled under the weight of the Elachi and Tal Shiar, the Cardassians (when they are introduced) would of been tied up with True Way terrorists, and the Delta Quadrant would be under the heel of the Vaadwaur while the Voth, Borg and Undine mindlessly bludgeoned each other for what could be a multi centennial war. I would say if anything. The Voth and Borg are the greater threat for the Iconians. The Voth should be the closest technologically to the Iconians and the Borg would adapt and assimilate anything they could get their hands on Iconian wise. The Borg, at the very least could be the next big bad if they actually do assimilate Iconian Tech returning them to the powerhouse they were in the 2360s and 2370s.
