1st something good : the intro before the battle of korfez when we all travel together before the fight should be almost a standard for all PVE Q that is the best way to have a standard wait period before we all begin the mission.
Or you could have something like a feature intro where you get to see the ship warping out ( like most of the intro for the single missions) one at a time with the name of the captain and ship or just the ship name for each player taking part in the mission.
Now some bads :
in the episode when you see the critter coming out of the mouth of the Vandwaar leader and the other guys who drop his gun because of fear is COMPLETLY WRONG. They are supppose to be a great race of warrior but got scared by a bug, a small bug and freeze. Even my little cousin with his 12yo was like hein?????? what???? why???? it makes no sense at all.
In battle of korfez the blockade part is not logical at all. I mean thats the kind of tactics that would make me go see the admiral in charge and shoot him myself for all the lives that were lost because of a stupid tactic in ship deployement. You should go with like 3-5 ships to protect ( in a tight group) at a time with waves of enemy warping in during your escort. you can still have all the enemy stationned and waiting but having 1 group of those group move (1-2-3 group at time slowly) as reinforcement the the ships that are warping in to stop you. So if the players dont divert dps to these group of ships they will get overwhelmed.
The only 2 things that would be logic is that they have a deep fear of bugs as a species trait or if its only the character then it needs to be explained.
i don't care how battle hardend you are...when a large bug crawls out of someone's mouth, your surprised....unless your a machine...or a bug
And rather than DROP my weapon, I point my weapon at said bug and communicate exactly how I feel about the bug crawling out of the guys mouth in a clear manner
My first reaction to all bugs is pretty much the same... shoot it!!! LOL

Nor should they be. Their ships would look weird.

Totally incorrect. That's actually one of the last things that would surprise or frighten a person familiar to such experiences through combat. They would be looking for that to happen, and kill the bug when it occurs.
Klingons freak out over tribbles. It is what it is.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

...y'all are going to have to excuse me, I'm just going to be over here in the fetal position with my phaser handy for a while...
