Future of the Foundry...

The Foundry for STO is closed down! What could this mean?!

Version 0.9 is possible? New ground editor Maybe?:D Perhaps Just "Optimizations"?;) It just so happens that the Foundry is "Unavailable" on the day of Season 10 Release!:confused: Who knows what they're going to have in store!:eek:

    The Foundry shuts down with each new Season. It takes time to convert over whatever new assets were added to a Season into the Foundry.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    No. They turn off the foundry every new season.

    What does it mean? Doom. Dooooooom I tell you!

    Since we ask taco about everything in the game (whether or not he is responsible for it doesn't matter) I bet he could tell us what it means.
    Should I start posting again after all this time?

    Whenever Taco emerges from the shadows riding a Voth T-Rex and says to himself "hmmm I think we need MOAR foundry stuff."

    in this case, they changed all of the sector space doors, AND the UI inside the foundry for picking a door. So yeah, it'll be a bit more than usual.

    They don't say this, but do you think that they do these found mission fixes during maintinence?
    The foundry is something I visit often, so...
