Your insight into future events allows you to per-emptively reduce the impact of enemy weapon fire. Activating any hull-restoring ability will grant your vessel a short period of immunity from all damage.

May only activate one every 45 seconds.
* to self: Immunity to All Damage for 4/2 sec
(Max once per 45 seconds)

:gain damage reduction from engineering abilities

activating any engineering bridge officer abilities will grant you additional damage reduction for a short time

reduce incoming damage by 20% for 3 seconds

QUESTION:
can any of these be subnuked off?

    I dunno, but stack that with the Aegis set immunity every 30 seconds and the Omega weapons set for proc'd immunity, if PvP were still a thing those would be darn annoying.

    My guess is "hope" keeps people not playing but posting on the forums. For others, its a path of sad realization and closure. Grieving takes time. The worst "haters" here love the game, or did at some point.

    These immunity procs certainly make vaping in PvP much more difficult.

    Subnuking them for the very few seconds they are on? I'm sure you could but is it worth it? These things are on for only a few seconds. The chances to proc them are always there if they're not on CD. There's nothing you can do about that.
