crashing

Hmmm...last night I was playing but had to shut down the game for a few minutes...(to walk the dog, he needed to get out) then I came back but the game crashed before my character was loaded in.

It did this repeatedly until I finally decided to go to bed. This was around midnight. This morning its the same, even if started in safe mode.


I'm just checking to see if its just me or if anyone else is having this issue.

    I was having Direct 3D Fatal Exceptions until loading STO in Safe Mode, which fixed it and has allowed me to play normally without fault since...

    If this did not help, perhaps try verifying file integrity as it's possible something became corrupted during the update process...
    The entitlement is strong in these forums...

    I've been having this issue too. On top of that, I tried loading in Safe Mode and it just crashed out on the new Star Trek Online: The Iconian War screen.

    I've uninstalled the game and it's currently reinstalling, but I'll let you know how I get on.

    I just tried that with no joy.

    A shame really, since I only recently came back to STO and I was really having fun with the foundry the past few days. I guess I'll wait to see if the patch today helps.

    I was having an issue with the game crashing at the Iconian War Screen. After putting the game into safe mode. I was able to not only log in but the lag and rubberbanding had become minimum.
