Many are probably in work or away somewhere.
Although season 10 looks good, cryptic have yet to address the dead queues problem.
Wether they will or not, remains to be seen.
Proper decent valueable rewards need to be added to every mission in PvE, in all queues top to bottom of the page, and no vendor trash either.
As above, ques are dead, never seen a new season release this quiet before,,,,,,,,,,,
Er, at this point, why would anybody be running public queues? They've made it even easier to get stuff outside of the queues...it's laggy as Hell for many folks...none of the issues with leeches/trolls have been addressed...etc, etc, etc - the list goes on and on and on.

I'd love to do queues again... but the only thing relatively playable with all the lag problems is story missions..
There s a lot of ppl who are having the lag problem.. my indicator for whether the lag has been resolved is eppohh tagging on new romulus.. for as long as it takes 3 seconds standing by an eppohh before i get the tag menu, i won't be doing many queues... bloody cogentco..
Went back to playing Swtor, going to give it a chance and ill decide if i get the expansion or not.
This game just got boring for me,two new missions, and another rep and thats about it...just going to log in to do my doff missions and wait until they change the name of the game from CABO (Cruisers and Battlecruisers Online) to what it should be,STO...STAR TREK ONLINE (Where you actually have a choice of what ship you can use and not the current cruiser+FAW FOTM)
GREAT NEWS!!!!
I wish you all the best and much, much fun in SWTOR there.
Back on topic, think peeps are indeed a bit busy with the new stuff. I ran the new ground mission yesterday and found it to be cool. Other than that Iconian reput and related queues will be my top priority the next couple of weeks. Hope I can squeeze in some Borgsmashing but with 9 alts a young season usually keeps one focused on new contend for a while.

Maybe it's not just only quiet. And then I'm not talking about the queues. Big social areas like ESD and DS9 are somewhat quiet as well. But isn't that because of the cap of max players per instance has been scaled down again? Their fix for the lags no doubt.
For example at DS9 it used to be 75 per instance. With the anniversary it was taken down to 50, a few weeks ago it went down to 40. Now with S10 it's further down to 30. So, this could give the impression that everything's deserted. But people are simply spread out over more instances because of the lowered cap. I just wonder if those caps will be scaled up again or if this is just permanent. Maybe they'll scale it down to just 1 player per instance. Might as well turn the whole thing into a single player game then.
waiting until they do the traditional "oh **** we gotta patch it or nobody's getting on" dance with the requisite "everything is crashing/lagging" to be over with.
You could have a long wait,,,,lol,,iv been playing yo-yo with my ship since begging of Feb....
I did have 1 lag free afternoon, IT WAS GREAT then back to yo-yo but at least im not line dancing anymore,

It could if you ignore the fact that with every release DS9 is becoming ever more marginalized. Take a look at the sector blocks and see how the alpha/beta quadrants are arranged. DS9 is on the left, everything else is on the right. If you're still leveling through the cardassian mission series or have a thing for our oldest multi-faction hub then, yah, you're still going to spend some time at DS9. Otherwise, well there's plenty of alternatives. Maybe you also want to take a look at them too.

It will be tough to find anything but the new missions for a while. And even those will largely be played on normal. The 20 hour cooldown for elite mark is a brilliant addition to the game from the company's point of view. If folks want say 6 elite marks it means 6 extra days of grinding marks and trading them. Of course this is also a win for players to an extent.
Leetster loving folks can rejoice as Cryptic seems committed to the failqueues with the new season's release. 2 of the 3 are failqueues. The other is actually a pretty awesome mission. Which one? Check in a week or 2 and see the other 2 zeroed out of players. There you will find your answer and your free Iconian doohickie.

Did both the new space ques as well as CCA and one run of ISA. Less then 30 second wait for all of them.
I think it's just the hour, as said before.. too late for U.S. players, too early for others.
