Nice job, Cryptic!

I like season 10. I love that the sectors walls are now down (Big flippin yay) The first featured episode is great and I am looking to those rewards for the next few weeks.

I haven't played the Delta Flight mission or the new STF's (I'm more in a foundry mood(Which is down) than a gameplay mood)

I am looking forward to what season 10 will bring. Let the war begin!

    i second that ;) i like the new deepspace encounters! no more shoot 10 groups, but more open mission like a small sector alert. very nice :) the herolds are tuff stuff on ground if you walking the wrong way and doesnt mind the red zones. space now feels really BIG, but also warp 9,97 looks and feels like travelling real fast. never used slipstream that often before like today, even started swapping drives again. always have your assimilated engine at hand ;)

    I've always got my assimilated engine. Warp 21 is fast. I haven't play S10 for long, Haven't seen the new encounters.

    I'd thought I'd praise Cryptic in this thread because other threads are about their disappointment in S10.

    I third that one too... Good job and more stuff to blew up. Overall not bad after just an expansion of less than 6 months ago. :D

    im glad you like it.. but I believe that yays or nays on the first half day of it being live are a little premature.. lol.. in a week you could be like, "bored" lol..

    ill waite to give my opinion till I have spent some time in it and see what the next few weeks/month brings..

    Agreed, the new map is awesome! Thank you very much Cryptic this is how space should be, there are no walls in the great ocean of the stars ^^

    I predict there will be quite a few sales of Vesta, Odessy, Dauntless and Excelsior class ships in the near future as well thanks to this lol

    As for people complaining about the deaths of the Preservers and the destruction of the Archives, I think I might know why you did it, and while unpopular, it was really the only option. The Preservers were a Deus Ex, an easy way for ending the war quickly. Everyone was thinking the same thing when this started and it was made clear the Iconian's were the next foe, just go ask the Preservers for help. The only way to actually make this a true war and actually difficulty would be removing them from the playing field.

    It was...brutal, but as an author I can see why it was done.

    My only complaint would be the audio for Tom Paris's voice was in 'comm badge mode' almost the entire time, even when you were standing right there talking to him. Aside from that, this was a great first step into the new season. I cant wait to see whats coming next!

    I enjoyed quite a bit of what we've seen of this new season. If it weren't for the incredible soul-crushing lag and rubberbanding, I would be looking forward to playing tons of the new STFs.
