Thumbs up for a Tuesday season launch

While this may be a little quality of life "update" of sorts , to me it's a giant step in perception of how things can be done better .

See , the usual Thursday seasonal launches (to me) alway conveyed a "let'em break it , we'll fix it on Monday ... , unless the server becomes unstable" kind of message .

And while the willingness to fix things was there , the "message" was ... well ... , kind of a total disregard to the player experience .

And ^^ this "perception" is what a Tuesday launch changes .... , and this is what gets the thumbs up from me . :)
As to how things will be (lag & playability) , well that's another story , and there are many other threads to gripe about that .





... in the end , launching it on Tuesday could also be saving a few bucks by not having to pay extra on weekend work (if they do such a thing) , but that's another story ...

    Uhm "Seasons" always launch on Tuesday ...
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    Well, 9.5 Launched on a Thursday - which might be what confused him - but all the others have generally been on Tuesdays.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    S9.5 was the first one in a long time to launch Thursday. Anyway, that one could have used 2 more weeks of testing. The R&D system took about 6 months to shake out most bugs, and it's still buggy. You click a school and get a different one all the time. Has led me to clicks I didn't want to do.

    How much do you think maintenance will be extended? 100 strips of latinum say 2 hours.

    Already increased by one hour, will we see another hour increase? I rise my bet another 100 strips.

    Tuesday? Yes! Tuesday Seaon 10 arrives, but for a good reason!XD


    It's coming on Tuesday, beacuse the devs have known for a long time, which even Captain Kirk had to learn...good things like tractor beams come on Tuesdays! XD

    I don't understand why they ever think Thursday is a good patch day, Tuesday or even Wednesday should always be patch day. Thursday just does not leave enough time to fix critical issues should they arise before the weekend in which they get out of office.
