It's still not as bad as the warp sequences since not everyone uses antiproton. Unfortunately everyone has to see that awful warp sequence! It looks okayish on about a fistful of starfleet ships and exactly 0 of KDF and RR ships. I've been hoping for an overhaul in that department for years.
However, I do agree. They need work.
Thanks for the expansion that had "as much content as the last"
9 Episodes = 30+ episodes...?

It's pronounced "S.T.O." "Stow" sounds idiotic! lol
Don't worry, they'll add a Nerf gun AP shotgun with the next rep.
P.S. According to the guy who posted the screen on reddit, "That glow is constantly pulsating. Contracting and expanding from the barrel while the gauges on the sides light up to the same rhythm."

I can confirm.
They dropped the ball for the new season ground set visuals.

Why is it that outside of the MK II weapons and armors and such, nothing ground based in this game looks Star Trek?
I'll give them credit for the Romulan Plasma Weapons, and the Fleet Elite Ground weapons. Very nice visuals, with very little Tron / Halo / Clone Trooper influence.
But most of the stuff you look at and wonder if the Devs were trying to develop a game that would appeal to 3 year olds.
It's really difficult to get a good look going, carrrying something that looks like it belongs in the Kindergarten or in the hands of Covenant grunts.

But...I like staplers
Seriously, I disliked the models from the beginning as well but yeah, I don't see that getting changed anytime soon.
Sad but true.
The Polaron weapons could use a revisit as well.
Shame they never added that weapon customization feature that was touted a couple years back.

Don't you be touching my Polaron weapons!
Super Soakers with a dash of Flash Gordon?
But yes, the other AP ground weapons are goofy looking.
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!

Only one way to know for sure...
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what sandwich would you take?
