Player who spent thousands of hours playing this game decides to stop due to missing support after being the victim of a bug. Resolving this issue would have been easy-peasy for the support. That is a confession of failure from the support/devs and it stands to reason that Scrooge is neither the first nor the last to leave the game due to similar issues.
This should be a wake up call to the developers! Star Trek Online is steadily loosing its most loyal players and if nothing is done to turn this trend around I see no long term future for Star Trek Online!

It is a FTP game. People come and go every day. I, personally, did not play the game for almost 4 months - though I did not feel the need to make a "goodbye" thread before taking a break. In the end there is always going to be someone leaving for whatever reason - and returning for whatever reason.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Sometimes, a simple facepalm just isn't enough.
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
