Are there some sort of Cryptic point gamecard things?

Some people I know just started playing this game and I'd like to be able to give them some C-store points so: A) can we buy them and give them to another player or, B) are there Cryptic gamecards that can be bought and given to other players or, C) can we buy something in the C-store and gift it to someone else?

There are PWE Zen pointscards to buy in stores for those with PWE accounts. (linked or othervise)

And then there are the virtual C-store cards.

You can use PW cards and transfer/convert the Zen into C-Points.

    If you hadn't already:
    Create a PW account. here

To merge your PW account and Cryptic Account follow these instructions.

here are the pay options on the PW site
and locations to get PW Cards

NixBoox, this is relevant answer that you seek.
It's like buying points for yourself, except that you get a key-code that you can give your friends and they can redeem them directly for C-Points to use in the STO store.

I went to Game-stop Coquitlam B.C. for Prepaid cards today for myself and my son for Star Trek online they had "Perfect World" Cards there in 10.00 and 25.00$ cards so I was going to buy a handful of them, then the clerk stopped me saying she didn't think they would work for Star Trek Online and I should not buy them as the games are not listed on the cards. I asked what cards to use but they didn't know. I don't need a Credit Card as I pay cash for everything and won't get one just to play an online game. The bummer is its my boys birthday in a few days and he only wanted a ship one of the new T6's as a gift only 2,500 or 3,000 zen but could be a million without a prepaid card, even Zinga names there games on there cards. The company needs to make money but does things like this ? I would fire someone for this blunder. And I still can't find what cards work.:(

I've used a couple as well (very recently too, they were also incidentally branded with "Arc"). No problems.

I used pw cards and they worked fine for STO, NW, PWI and all other arc games I suppose. The problem is now I cannot find them in the stores listed by PWE or where I did get them at. They have disappeared off of the game card racks where I live (fairly big city in the US Midwest). I do not use my cc for games so I do not buy anything in sto anymore. PWE is dropping the ball with not keeping their prepaid cards easily available. I am sure they have lost some revenue due to this but I guess not enough for them to look into it and demand their cards be stocked where they say they are supposed to be.

if you want to discuss this, make your own thread so someone can help you out.

Deathbird, I live in Richmond, BC myself and I buy the Perfect World cards all the time and they work for all Perfect World games, including Star Trek Online. If the casheir at that GameStop tells you it won't work, they have no idea what they are talking about.

PS You could also get them from 7-11, Mac's stores and Best Buy.

    Hope this helps.

Look at his forum join date and post count. He probably hasn't earned the ability to create his own threads yet.

i cant answer to that even though the answer to it is simple.
