I know this will be guessing, but since we had that large pre-patch recently, am beginning to wonder.

besides some people have said APRIL, others have said MAY so I am going in the middle and predicting Maypril
Doubt it, probably galaxy revamp, maybe preseason episodes, they added some more iconian stuff in the test server yesterday, so I doubt we will see season 10 until delta recruitment ends.
what is meant by canon? i'm puzzled on that

Nothing has been announced, but given that the pre patching has started and an overlap from Delta recruitment exp bonuses and S10 is unlikely Thursday the 23rd is the most likely.
Though the 21st is also an option to give the team time to deal with potential (the sceptic in me say likely) problems and crashes with the introduction.

Planets like Ferenginar, Betazed, Trill, Tellar, etc that were not added to STO when the Sector Maps were originally done.
They need a lockbox blog.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!! the blog posts have substance to them, granted none of them are legible and just look like a lot of pretty letters and may resemble words (I think) but they do have substance
Besides i only look at the pretty letters as i can not read, never learnt and not willing to learn now

yeah, what substance? you challenge the claim and i ask you find something that is completely revelent to this thread..
in general all we got is a character incoming, some missions coming "without" a date, or what they are about as cryptic usually brings out some details about the missions. and a few lines of text to try put a backstory to the warfront.
meawhile there is no date of anything incoming and its already been stated on here thats its coming.
no details of the revamped sector space maps, or changes to the balance of the games, or anything else they are bringing to season 10...
you tell me; is what we seen so far qualifies as "meaty" enough? because so far its all flash and no substance, like a shiny :P.

Now i am not 100% sure of this but i do not think they will release it because its your birthday tomorrow, although if they do and just in case they do i will post the following for anyone reading this at cryptic.
I know i have been a royal pain in the backside etc etc but it is my birthday next month could i please have LTS please, you did grant this posters wish of having season 10 on his birthday etc etc.

Content on tribble usually always seems like it's weeks away. However, they the episodes launching with season 10 say the following on a tooltip: April 21st, 2015 12 pm - May 21st @ 12 pm.
This gives us an indication that this is the launch date of season 10 (a Tuesday by the way). I expect that maybe there will be one more patch on tribble before then since the April 14th patch has brotherhood PvE queued event not in a final state, nor the Iconian reputation art.
Why release it during an event. Then you won't have anyone doing the event, due to they are doing the new content. Make sense to wait until its over.

Cause of the time involved since the Delta Recruit event began and how the different week's bonuses are tied into that...
...and it's not like the content is going to take much time. It's a Season not an Expansion.
Since only examples were given: when you have a work based upon some IP (intellectual property I think), the places, characters etc. that are from the original work are called "canon", while the ones you add yourself are considered "non canon". Example: if STO included a mission where you escort Captain Kirk and Commander Harry the Larry from Vulcan to Brxnkltfp Prime, Kirk and Vulcan are "canon", Harry and Brxnkltfp Prime are "non-canon".
In this instance what is meant that planets which were on the original shows (canon) will be inserted into the STO universe.
The reason for the event is to get people to play the event. And get people going if they are returning or new. You have a lot of players doing the event.
So why come out with all new content to overlap the event. And then you won't have others doing the event. Even on wow they would hold off any new content until the pvp event was over. Or some other event. So those players would do them.
We will see when it comes out. I thinking after the event. Its all speculation.
